a few days ago, jan 20 news release: "New data reported today showed that...median overall survival was 10.2 months (95 percent CI: 5.7 - 12.3 months)."
MEDIAN SURVIVAL: 10.2 months! And the LOW end of the confidence interval was 5.7 months! which is more then gemcitabine alone usually is.
that news release was on jan 20!
Now, jan 27, there is a news release that says this " The median survival for patients receiving saridegib plus gemcitabine was less than the historical median survival for single-agent gemcitabine of approximately six months"
wow. 7 days later? really? this is crazy
how many patients were being reported on in the jan 20 news release? anyone know how they were selected? they werent part of the double blind study were they? does this timing seem a little particular to anyone else?
