The last time this ran up to 6, there was quite a bit of buzz and promotion behind it.. hype perhaps as well. There is no doubt in my mind that the company is not only in a much better cash position today than it was when this was at 6 2 years ago, but also, that its further along in the commercialization process. The reason this dipped into the low 2's mind you was we fired Damaj. Think about that rationalization.
It is held low because there's no reason to LET IT go up. This is why biotech's and small cap/speculative stocks are so tricky. They mess with your mind and emotions. They sell off after news. They go up in uncertain times, go down at the wrong time. BUT. This is only the case so long as the company REMAINS a speculative, cash-burning, capital-raising stock.
When earnings start rolling in, as they should as early as 4th quarter and 2014 q1, those earnings will be enough to justify a PPS 15 times the current price. At that point, naturally, there would be a violent jump up. Probably in the mid-teens and then up from there. The question is, at what point do the people who want this stock so badly (now) finish with accumulation? At what point do they say, okay, NOW, its time to let this run up? Well, obviously, not yet. What could they gain from letting this run up to 4 if they have no intention of selling? And they also can't jack it up to 7-9 because then no one would hold (it would be overvalued by most anywhere over 5.50)
So for now, they drag, drop.. drag, drop.. shake the tree, get people to give into fear and sell at 2.50.. give into greed and buy at 2,80.. get those same people to shed those same shares again at 2.59. Its a game. I know you might be frustrated but ultimately, if you watch the day to day or trade this stock, then trade it. If you're invested in it, then invest in it. The timing for this company to launch an ED drug couldn't be better. they have a huge market for this drug, and now 2 approvals. Issue is, when it moves up..too late
