Can we say.. filling the gap?

Has taken 5yrs +- a few months to really start to recover from the "financial crisis"-prompted stock price crash... although still far from the 30+ peak. Stock has been tracking the s&P very closely until last year, In 3 weeks made up the under performance of last 12 m, which might indicate upside. As we can see from the wealth of messages here, this is only an institution's ... and insiders' .. stock!

Now that OMCL has hit a new 52 wk high it is still no where near it's all time 30 yet the Dow has hit a new all time high. So the question in my mind is, will the multiples start to increase on all of these stocks that are at 52 week highs but still way below their peaks of 2007/2008? I'm looking for multiple expansion.

      Sentiment: Buy

      • Well, I wish it for this stock...but wishing will not make it happen! Actually, OMCL has tracked CFN quite closely. OMCL is growing faster, 6ish% points... but CFN is more profitable 19% vs 12% (add 2-3% if we put back omcl's stock grants). That said, these professional analysts write higher relative targets for Omnicell, even though the eps expansion is really undemanding.

I think Randall quite likes it like this: steady as she goes. It used to be quite chaotic. What might change the picture is ANY synergy from the acquisition... or some rule mandating something eg OR cabinets. Can't see the latter happening.

Omnicell brings the nurse patient and meds altogether at the same place and time. What's missing is the physician- if needed. They might get another leg up off the current infra by bringing in the doctor. Virtually, of course. It's been done elsewhere.
