Making stupid claims from their Library PC that they will cover at 5. The only way it will get to 5 is a 10-1 stock split LOL and there is no need for that. I could imagine a 2-1 at some point around 60 or so.That would slip the coup de gras to the last of the dummies who remain short but I would imagine they will be gone next week as the margin calls come raining down .This beyond any doubt a strong retail story that has momentum.
This is a strong company with excellent share of market in the private label industry and they are gaining shelf space at retail with the big players due to the excellent margins and low prices they offer.
That is exactly why I read it. I love it when I see negative #$%$ on a company. I find my best contrarian plays there. I have made almost 7 figures over the past 3 years on contrarian long plays that the idiots were blasting. You are right that most of it is #$%$ but I bought FIVE, HLF, POWR AIG from there and had enormous gains on all. Especially HLF.
As dumb as Kerrisdale has been they will probably average up lol, Good call on the 50 after earnings. Could even beat the earnings announcement. Have not seen any recent stupid posts on Seeking Alpha. You want to study how shorts try to create facts that are damning read some of the old posts they made. The study is that when you review a short post examine the facts if they do not hold put the stock on a full review and you may find it a buy like this one. POWR was another and another is DISH. All shorts by emotional bull shooters. The Bulls prevailed with strong gains and DISH already is ahead of the short.
They had a 6 million reserve up to cover the settlement. This will be released now and that is around 4 cents a share to earnings. The business is growing and it is due to better designs and color trends are bombing the competition and they deliver much better value per shoe than Nike or Adidas. Golf is making some money for them as well. Great ad campaign on TV. Strong but short blasts are delivering nice image for the company and traffic in the stores.
