    5g is on the way

Great for fixed wireless video, so VZ should be able to rollout high speed internet and FIOS video services where they do not have facility backbone. If effect they can compete with Direct TV and cable wherever they have wireless service. Add the IOT, and mobile advertising, it seems VZ made some great investments.

new wireless plan could add up to almost $1bil a month. Math= 112,000,000 x $10 per month, is $1.120 bil, if vz uses that to pay down debt the stock should go to the $60's

Agreed to 60, If the VZ strategy is to continue to build out the FIOS product in areas where the backbone is in place (i.e increase penetration rates), and if the 5g rollout scheduled for year end is as good as they say (1000x more data than 4g) 60 might be a conservative number. VZ continues to pay own debt, and rollout the IOT (over 50bil new connections anticipated to occur next year). VZ could use the nationwide 5g system to add a fixed wireless network anywhere in the country. Could add the FIOS platform to it and compete with cable and ATT's direct TV with little out of pocket expense. I am picking VZ over ATT for this reason, as well as adding CSCO to my buy portfolio.

their daily break even is still considerable, Theoretically whether oil is up or down a case can be made for tankers either way. If oil'l demand is down, tankers will be used as a storage facility by producers. That benefits tanking comp0anies because tankers but need less fuel and crew cost. If the demand is up, more shipments will be made. The yield presently is a function of a depressed energy market. Tankers and pipeline companies are good buys at the present time. 2 to 3 years from now everyone will be saying I shoulda bought.

Why do they call it UK after the Brexit vote?

The only way out for England is to open discussions with the EU on staying in, but with modifications to the EU immigration policy. This will allow England to save face, as well as quell the exit discussions in France, Netherlands and Italy. Everyone now sees the results it has had on markets and currency's, if they state the entire issue was on lax EU immigration policy it use that as the scapegoat, instead of nationalism or just plain stupidity. Here's my thoughts IMHO. VOD is on my buy list but not till it hits its 52 week low. The issue could be tariffs the EU could put to VOD property's and services due to the vote. Kind of like a warning to other countries discussing the exit strategy with the EU. Even though the vote came back to exit I believe it will takes years to negotiate the exit and trade circumstances. In the meantime pick up VOD at #28 to $30, take the dividend for a couple of years and sell if you get a capital gain of 15% or over. Again, just a poor mans view on the stock.

agreed not holding as much cash as I would have liked but this where you put cash to work on short term blips. Over the course of a week after all the analysis goes through, it will be a non event. Looking to buy oil/ng shippers and some telecoms

IMHO they will never get it for that price (or will surprised if they do). Hope they can, it will be great acquisition and meld great with AOL. I'm gonna buy more shares after earnings report. Hard to bet against Buffet, a solid dividend and a great wireless business. Especially with the IOT becoming so big.

It's nice to hear CEO's talking about growth and leadership in the same sentence. Their long term goal hopefully will allow them to continue with research and development, to come up with great innovative projects.

There is talk of NG for the marine industry. If that takes hold, you might just see CLNE equipment at marinas and shipping docks.
