No it doesn't. You cant change reality with positive thinking. Market doesn't lie, you may lie to yourself though.
If you vote republican, you deserve to be ridiculed.
I agreed. Unfortunately, Rmoney is stuck in the tax form issue. His advisors need to be fired immediately. As long as Rmoney continues not to release his tax forms, he can't focus the message on the economy. He needs to release his tax forms, take the hit (if any), and move onto the economy!
That's a fact. ATPG could have avoided bankruptcy filing. They could have either sold their assets, or did what Knight Capital did and dilute its shares. Those 2 measures might have saved ATPG.
But management chose to do neither and filed for BK.
People may get upset with Knight Capital mgmt but at least they prevented shareholders from getting wiped out, and they had a LOT shorter time to deal with their situation than ATPG mgmt did.
Bonds don't get wiped out. What are you talking about?
Bonds may get 30c for a $1. Or bondholders and DIP take control of company, cancel all commons, and then when ATPG remerges, new shares are issued and bonholders recoup some of their costs and may even profit.
Let there be no mistake. Commons are toast.
Company survives, shareholders get wiped out.
Shareholders are at the bottom of claim to assets. By the time the bondholders are done, they will have taken control over all assets and fatten themselves with shares of the new company, if any.
Old shareholders are wiped out. Look at GM for a prime example of this.
There is no play. It's going to open super low on Monday, then it may bounce up a little, or it may not.
In any case, if you have shares, sell! The shares will be worth 0.
It's sad. To see so many longs got suckered into this. What I don't get is that there were PLENTY OF WARNINGS about this. The writing was not ONLY on the wall but RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE.
Still, why did some longs buy at .45c? That's so bad. Might as well have gone to Vegas because at least you have some chance of winning at Vegas.
A very sensible analysis. I read about how much it costs to market a sleep aid drug, those numbers are just crazy. TSPT needs to be hundreds of millions to market the drug!!!
It's a big business for sure, I am just not sure if TSPT has what it takes to execute. May be buyout is not a bad idea after all.
