You are a straight out li-r IPD. You have been short for years and everyone knows it, but just like Hillary you expect others to be so stupid as to let you get away with your fabrications. Sorry you lost 400% recent.y. "It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy", as they say..
I do have to agree here. Staying short through this upswing from $1.10 up to $5.00++ has got to hurt a bunch. Well, maybe they get a correction and a chance to get out. we will see.
What are you?? Some kind of pumper. Long way to go until $30. Years if not decades Way overbought at this time and very set for a correction of a $1.00 or more. I'd wait to buy rather than chase, but then what do I know?? anyway glty
You may get close to another chance before we move higher. Not at all outside the possible with the amount of manipulation in the PM markets. At this point it is hard for me to believe that we will not at least test $3.75, but then what do I know. Anyway, glty
My guess is that they will wait another month before moving the div up. that will give them a chance to rebuild some cash and ore in the Treasury. Maybe even a couple months, but if the present pricing holds (a big if) then I would definitely expect some production increases and a div increase back to .01 per month. Realize this is only about 6 million over the year which is more than covered by the price increase. Of course if we go back to under 15 silver then all bets are off.
After today I'll look at it again. I studied it a few years ago but passed at the time because of too much still to be done. I'll take a closer look at the progress they have made. Obviously a 13+% move means someone is looking. thanks for the heads up no matter what I do. and glty
Why would you buy into LODE when it is showing no real rallying movements during this PM pricing rally and needs to dilute further and has no production on line. Seems like a risky long shot to me but am open to hearing a cogent explanation. TIA
Average cost now below 6 ipd, and yes still a little high, but still accumulating so we will see. And as always this is not my only holding. With silver rallying this should be positive this year, but even then it is still a 20 year holding unless we either see too much debt being acquired, Failure of drill results that are forthcoming, issues with management that are unacceptable (a personal decision for each, etc.) Interesting how you went immediately to ad hominem attacks as you always do, rather than any other analysis. So as always, screw off and you are back on ignore, but anyway don't let the door hit your a-s on the way out.
Goro is not a scam. I've been watching them for 5+ years and they give back a ton of money in dividends to the shareholders, though of course they are big shareholders. Having said that their performance and technical mining capabilities have been less than stellar. They have missed flooding, water, CO2, etcc. problems over the last few years and have at times been over optimistic about future prospects (more from Bill the previous CEO than from Jason, who appears a bit more level headed).
Due to their limited technical abilities they attempt to develop properties that they acquire very cheaply that are relatively easy to develop. They are also incredibly financially conservative, possibly to a fault, because they refuse to acquire any type of debt for development, choosing instead to cash fund future development and also to pay real cash dividends. This makes Goro secure, but also rather slowly developing which leads back to the holding period 5-20 years as this long term business plan comes to fruition. Also family owned and developed which has strengths and weaknesses that many will argue about over time. glty
Also just a BTW, I mostly do not join in meaningless ad hominem attacks like the very low class shorts that tend to inhabit this board, though I have lately noticed a surprising silence on their part. Wonder why??, There must be greener pastures for them to mow. Oh, and also just another BTW, I am about as far from a MS. as one can get, but thanks for the laugh though it would have been better if my two broken ribs hadn't hurt quite so much when I laughed. Anyway as always, good luck to you.
No, you misunderstand so calm down, my comment was directed toward the trading expert who started this post not towards you, and towards his brilliant idea (sarcasm) of remaining short Goro during this Precious Metals rally.
In response to you since you have by now (July1) made a profit if you have held, my advice is the same as it has been for the last few years. Goro is a long term play and acquiring shares at or below $3.50 is probably a winning move over a 5+ year period. Since we are now above $3.50 I am having to rethink my accumulation scenario, but I do very much like the gold and silver prices above 1300 and 19.
The reason being that these prices will allow Goro sufficient cash to fund some acceleration of the exploration and drill needs, acceleration of Switchback development, further development of Radar and surrounding Nevada properties, and still give Jason the ability to raise the dividend to hopefully around $0.03 per month or $0.36 annual+ which means that Goro has a new price point of around $10.00. Obviously this will take time (over a year) and it will also take management performing competently, which is always a question with these guys.
As far as Alta Garcia, El Rey, etc. are concerned to my mind Goro has years to develop these areas and work out the problems involved. Increasing grades of PM, which I do consider likely, working on Line based electrical power to the existing mine to help with costs, beginning production from Switchback and moving Nevada properties towards some type of low capital investment surface mining, leaching production in order to get these properties to become self funding are all crucial and doable over the next few years, but we need PM prices to continue to ralyy with gold moving back toward $1,500 and Silver hopefully doing a 60/1 ratio with gold (or less) and reaching around $25.
My continuing advice is long term steady accumulation at these prices with a holding period of 5-20 years. glty
Yes, 5-10 years is a good time frame for Goro with 20 on the outside. these guys are slow for sure, but with the no debt situation you're probably pretty safe sitting in the 2's and 3's. Glty
