    Can GGP Go Private?

    by anne_hi Jun 15, 2016 6:21 PM
    biff_smith1 biff_smith1 Jul 6, 2016 8:25 PM Flag

The info is all available in SEC filings. S4 forms in this case. Or see it on YF days later.
Old Sandeep EXERCISED options on 300,000 shares at $9.69 and immediately sold those shares at $28.90.

But he deserved it, don't you think?

    AMERICA, WHAT A COUNTRY !!
    Am I right or Amarillo?

$50,000 into GGP (GGWPQ) at $0.40...which would have been easy to do since the actually low was 0.24 !!!!!
and if you enjoy a fairly simple life, you would not be able to spend the dividend money they are paying
out, and increasing regularly. They have raised the dividend 9 times since BK!!!!!
Plus, you would be sitting on shares that would be worth $3,750,000.00...and not many of us realized it, but so far, there has been every reason to just hold !!
    Plus 2 other companies were spun off that you could have just sold like found money, although one of them;
Rouse General Properties, pays a dividend also!
The other one; Howard Hughes Company, well just take a look and see what that company owns!

It seems every 5 minutes, someone would post on the message board that we were going to lose EVERY CENT we put into our shares. I was one poster who was known for saying that we never needed to sell at all !

You are on the wrong track bothering me. You should be spending your time "Stalking the 10 bagger" and don't let anyone talk you out of your shares when you get your boney hands on them.

P.S. Investing is not easy; not easy at all, especially in this market we have had since the 3'rd Qtr. of 2014.
And you should be ashamed of yourself for using hindsight to point out what you THINK are mistakes others
make. Tell us about the millions you have made in the stock market and tell also of how much you have now.
I would just about guarantee you have done nothing but lose money investing your own funds.

    AM I RIGHT OR AMARILLO?

The falling knife was also as a Bear Market and those drops were normal, thus they are wicked good buys right now.
Ever had a 20 bagger? One that you put lots of money into? If not, you are $h1t on my boot heel.
I should have no time for you, but that's not the way I am.

That's the great thing about the shares of good companies. They go right back up.
Whatever problems they have, they fix them.

    OFF-TOPIC..

Today was a great time to buy VRX but you are busy bashing
posters on message boards. That's very important to you to
bash honest posters using the only tool you know; hindsight!

Even if you only had $1000 to put into VRX, you would probably
be looking at $7000 in 18 months. That would buy you a fancy
    ...scooter!
I would be willing to make you a mop carrier for it !? he he he.

    P.S. There was news..

  • biff_smith1 biff_smith1 Jul 6, 2016 2:52 PM Flag

    Long term hold or..
    25% or more correction coming.
You bought cheap which is the only way to buy something like this.
Funds will buy this over $5.00 per share?
I'd like to know which ones.

You are talking about mistakes in timing, or at least LL should be a mistake in timing, IF someone bought at
$90. You are such a GURU you could have bought at $90 just for fun and then really loaded up at $10.02
because you must have known that was the bottom.! So 3 shares at $90 and say, 300 shares at $10.02
and already you'd have reason to walk down main street grinning uncontrollably!
    ;-)

I would say the biggest mistake I EVER MADE (in stocks) was buying WNR at $4...and waiting and waiting while nothing
happened; then selling WNR at $4 and watching it eventually go to over $50. And DIVIDENDS? Well
take a look; I think they raised the dividend about 7 times and paid out 2 special dividends also! That was
torture for me to watch and I certainly hope I didn't cause anyone else to sell.

Tod, what you need to keep you from getting bored is a bit of MUX.
Cedarburg mentioned it to me; credit where credit is due.
A small gold and silver mining company that has the potential to
    make money. And that's rare.

I didn't realize that we all can watch Videos that were done by Peter lynch, right on YouTube.
One good one for you I think is:
"The Best Stock Tips from Hedge Fund Manager Peter lynch."

Well Lynch never managed a hedge fund; he ran The Fidelity Magellan mutual fund for 13 years
    and then retired.
Watch that video by Lynch and you will pick up valuable tidbits of information. Peter Lynch is one of the good guys in the world of investing.

CVEO up three days in a row

    by mlr_neuro Jun 30, 2016 5:50 PM
    biff_smith1 biff_smith1 Jul 3, 2016 12:53 PM Flag

CVEO popped to $2.40 and I remember you saying that if anyone wanted to buy, they would have to
    pay $2.10. !
Short term we do not know what the share price is going to do, right Mr. Neuro! Actually that was not
    meant to be a question.

    Sentiment: Hold

We had a poster say that he knows a contractor who will not use LL flooring now.
So I would say that the C doesn't know what we know.
We need to get the truth out in a big way!
I think you should not be expecting any improvements in this next earnings report.
    JMO.
Just like I said about the last report. How can we expect any real change? I am hoping
for the best but I wouldn't bet short term money on it.

Word is Anderson Cooperman wants to set up a meeting with eldavies!
He will want this spineless person to get down on his knees, so as to
make it nice and easy for Cooperman to kick eldavies in the teeth !

Then Cooperman, a few months later, wants to meet with eldavies again and
kick him in the nuts, as part of an update !

When this beating is over, naturally eldavies will tell his friends and family that he could do
nothing to stop Cooperman from kicking him and also there is nothing that can be done to
get justice in the matter and no sense in even making an attempt!

eldavies is just one example of the cowardly posters on this message board.
"Cowards die many times before their death" and that is not just my opinion.

    I will mark this post.
    _______
I think LL is a great idea, but we need 60 Minutes to admit they were wrong. We need them to be
anxious to do a 3rd. update!!! apologizing to LL and all shareholders and all LL Customers who were
worried about their health from installed flooring. etc. etc.
That would help investor attitude but more importantly it would help sales... instantly!

Did you read haole's post this week about the flooring contractor who doesn't dare to use LL Flooring, even
    now?

    Biff

    Sis, you don't need to sell TASR for our trip to The South Of France for the holiday weekend;
    I took care of it.
Not exactly first class but i know you are a good sport.
I don't know anything about that country; not even how much they get for a jumbo lemonade.

    GOOD TIMES!
