I'll take your word for the normal practice. It's interesting that the Colombia LOI came without an announcement of a visit. There may have been one and they didn't tell us or the Colombia group just didn't need it. And now we have a visit coming up from a Honduran group. We will see how it all plays out. It is good to see some action happening.
First the question. Where is sosam? I would have thought he would be posting by now. Maybe he really is an insider and can't post because he's in possession of insider info. But that would mean an insider has problems with punctuation marks which might not be a good thing.
Second, the comment. We are up 11 percent as I write this. sounds good right? But the volume leaves something to be desired. Hopefully we'll get more soon.
Hasn't hit Yahoo yet but ALLM received a sublicence letter of intent from Colombia. on Global news today. So we didn't get South Africa yet but we did get a letter of intent from South America. It's an SA.
They had a deal in South Africa but it involved the President of South Africa's wife. The president got involved in some scandal and the deal fell through. Spearfish was an investor in that deal. Apparently whatever happened to the president happened and Spearfish is considering a new deal. The first one was for five plants this one is only one. I agree that there may be a deal, but it could be that they actually do want to see the thing in operation or maybe one of the Spearfish investors does. It could be news to come.
I agree upton1free. The problem is that we have wackos killing people here with no political agenda. In Orlando the religious angle seems to have been just a tack on by a troubled kid. Virginia Tech and any number of school shootings.; And even in other places, in Norway of all places. It seems to me that the Islamists are just taking advantage of some larger suicidal tendency which is spreading all over. What causes it? What to do about it? I have no clue.
The announcement appeared on Yahoo at 9:00 am, the market didn't open until 9:30. Unless you are talking about a movement yesterday, I don't understand what you are saying.
the latest PR indicated that the MEP is working with ALLM and they have two new pieces of equipment. My guess is the JV is ready to happen and soon. I realize I may be sounding like sosam but I am still using periods so there's that.
In this PR the company put out a statement of a purchase order and an exact amount, as well as projection of annual sales. This is much more specific than previous PRs and declares a purchase order is in hand. We know that they did a trial with a Chinese oil company and the shipping trial which I believe was applied in China. This one could be real, and 5 million of revenue would quadruple or quintuple previous years sales. We'll see.
It sounds like the long awaited JV is in progress. I was a little disappointed at the statement that it would be a couple of more months, but that's not long in the grand scheme of things. Maybe sosam was actually right. Now if we could only introduce him to a period. :-)
I'm wondering if this burst of new activity is connect to the company's announcement that it increased it's distribution network For a long time people have been pressuring them to use contractors to help distribute their products. If they finally relented and did it, then maybe that is what these new projects are about. JMO
IMHO you are both wrong. First it will not be worth 1.3 billion by this September. yayankee1 is right about that. That would mean it had not only revenues but substantial profits by September. I know, I know, Amazon isn't making profits but has a huge market cap but this isn't Amazon. OTOH, they do have a potentially great technology. Let's suppose they installed their bolt on tech on the 200 or so ethanol plants in North America and got 5 million licencing fee on each. Admittedly that's one time revenue, but it's a billion dollars of one time revenue. And if they get the 6% royalties? It could easily get to 1.3 billion market cap at some point. We'll have to see how it works out but it certainly is possible.
Today was the heaviest trading day ever in the stock. This week is already one of the heaviest weeks and it is only Wednesday. I'm not sure what that means long term, for every buyer there's a seller and all that, but certainly the interest is up.
