I agree but based on the last CC it did not sound like they will do a buy back until the Unigroup deal and the conversion was completed. I think after that they will be very aggressive buying up to NT$40. I hope I am wrong and they start sooner.

Gen, they declared an NT$2.00 dividend per 8150 share. That equals about 6.36 cents per share for 900 million shares outstanding.. If the Unigroup deal goes through then there will be about 1.2 billion shares outstanding so the dividend would be about NT$1.50 which would be about 4.77 cents per 8150 share. So we are getting 18.71 shares of 8150 and the dividend will be about 89 cents to $1.19 for each IMOS share held.

Bam, you are right. Sorry for clogging the board but he is relentless with his attacks. I thought I called a truce a couple of weeks ago but when exas took off he was right back at it.That is the last of my rebuttals with him. Again sorry and let's try and stick to imos constructive info.

IIG, I am with you. Any buy back would be great. The tone of last nights cc was excellent IMO. I think once the conversion gets done then the Taiwan investors will start to buy when the liquidity increases as long as the market stays strong for their products. It sounds like the China opportunity could be a real game changer for imos.

IIG, I don't think they could do a buy back until after the conversion. After that they will be very aggressive as long as 8150 stays cheap. I think they are using $nt 40 as a barometer to being undervalued.

Based on the thumbs down looks like some don't want the merger to go through. I hope you know what you want because if it does not go through you will be stuck trading at a 30% or more discount for another year. With no chance of a better deal IMO

Seany, no concerned like you Imos is less then 10% of my net worth so I always sleep well. You on the other hand got margined out so I feel your pain. I hope you make it back on exas and imos. I really mean that. No reason to wish each other bad things. There will be life after both stocks and what is most important is good health. Good luck and happy you see the light that a vote of Yes is good for all even after a bad merger proposal.

Wow, that would be awesome for exas shareholders as they will still be down more the imos for the last year. They will keep doing secondary's and suck the shareholders dry.

Bam, seems to be the consensus of most rational shareholders. I voted no for the directors too but won't mean much as that board won't exist in 120 days or less. There was not much of an alternative as the large shareholders seem to be happy to move forward with the conversion. A no vote at this point for the conversion is a vote against us shareholders.

Sean, why didn't you reach out for Baupost and call a special meeting? You are great telling other people what to do. Apparently most of the large institutions are ok with the merger otherwise they would have voiced their opinions by now. You should listen to Jaret and change your vote to yes otherwise you could be the one along with others voting no that are now screwing us shareholders. Why would Jaret want to reach out for you. We have discussed you in the past along with other long time shareholders and concluded that you are an idiot.
