Is a joke now. It's just filled with day traders who know nothing about the company shamelessly pumping and bashing to help their precious little position. The desperation in some of these posts too is truly astonishing. Guess its back to Tesla motors club for any useful information about what's going on.
Big auto manufactures couldn't survive without ICE cars. Their business models simply rely on them. The cars like the leaf and whatever that ford is, are just half #$%$ attempts to make it seem like EVs aren't all that great. It's much easier for the big manufactures to just try to crush an EV start up and act like they aren't a viable option for an automobile.
To be frank the ford EV and Nissan leaf are just lame, and really only appeal to the environment savers. The gen III will be in the same market as the the bmw 3 series, so not really masses but more so then the model s. The kind of cool technology that we are seeing in the model s such as the big iPad we simply won't see coming out of companies like ford. The big auto manufactures are 10 steps behind Tesla in EV technology right now and in 5 years they will still be because EVs are not their main priority. I spend much of my time around very high profile, influential people so trust me when I say Tesla is cool/hot/the next big thing. I know it's cliche but Tesla is turning out to be the apple of the auto industry in more ways then many realize.
I don't care what you say about the company and stock now, because there's no denying when the Gen III comes out Tesla will absolutely dominate. The car will have the appeal of the iPhone but in the form of a car that the masses will absolutely love. Just plugging it in at night is something that people are accustomed to with their phones already, and lack of maintenance will be very appealing to just about everyone. It will be fast, good looking, and the new car to have. The current era of automobile will certainly seem dated. Sales will be immense, and TSLA will be in the several hundreds, just wait.
Exactly. It's frustrating to see all the BS being thrown around by traders who really know nothing about the company, just trying to pump/bash to help their position.
I'm guessing you feel the same way about NFLX. Your'e are just out of the loop. There is massive demand for the car and the future of the company. The Model S is truly revolutionary and its drawing a wide range of buyers. Maybe next time don't short a company you know nothing about.
Sums it up perfectly. This is a LONG term company and stock. I don't think shorts realize there will simply never be a big sell off like they are claiming because a majority of the longs don't plan on selling any time soon.
Yes. Do not try to actively trade this stock, your emotions simply won't be able to handle the violent swings. If you treat it as an INVESTMENT and you are willing to hold for a couple months or years, you will be greatly rewarded.
Meant to thumbs you up! Shorts are too ignorant to understand what DEMAND means. They are so caught up in their own beliefs and they are going to get screwed because of it.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
All I've ever owned are BMWs but honestly I would rather own a TESLA at this point. Now don't get me wrong, bmw is an absolutely incredible company, but lately it's taken a turn for the worse. The new M5 is a joke compared to the Model S. All of their cars are loosing soul and personality, and frankly nobody is impressed that you have a bmw anymore because they're more common then hondas. I live in one of the wealthiest parts of the country and I can honestly say a Tesla gets more attention then anything else, even most exotics.
You do bring up one good point, Europeans are very into European cars. Brits lover their jags and land rovers and Germans obviously love their BMWs, Audis, etc. That being said, Tesla's cool factor sets it apart from anything else on the road. It doesn't scream "hey I'm from America" which might turn off some euro buyers. It's flashy but still very classy and extremely good looking, like jags/BMWs/etc so it would still appeal to those buyers. Europeans are also a lot more accepting of new efficient technology so even if they could afford to pay for gas, they like the idea of not having to. IMO Tesla is like apple in way it appeals to people. It's a cool techy company out of California making something that is high end and chic, and that's simply what people want no matter where they are from.
I dont really feel comfortable giving trading advice, so sorry I cant provide you with some exact awnser you are probably looking for. I will say, because Tesla has many things coming over the next couple years, it has plenty of time to bounce back if it was to ever sell off dramatically. I'm personally willing to hold for a significant period of time because of the huge long term growth potential I feel this company has.
Just do what YOU feel is right, and be willing to accept the consequences if you are wrong. Also don't trade with life savings or any money like that.
