it seems as though volatility etfs got thrown away this week. I would consider this before selling hastily the next few trading days, but of course, that is just my opinion. UVXY reached above 17 last week, on the 16th. Soon, the Fed may have to either telegraph a rate hike, or admit that it never actually planned to raise rates again with anything short of an unachievable scenario, which could cause a stir in itself. Volatility may take its cues sooner rather than later. Cheers!
sure, the flexible morals they possess(if you actually can call them that) illustrate the need to improve educational standards in our great country. Until we can do that, just keep voting for the lesser of the two corporately owned evils and keep saying that some good will result from that. All of this in spite of the lies and the perversions of a greatly flawed system that keeps deranged sociopaths in positions of power. Wish upon a Bill.
For a rally of any significance to occur at this juncture, there will need to first be a sell off from those who are counting on the fed to not hike this year. Next, a hike from the fed should happen, in order to validate the thesis of steady growth which can accommodate a few hikes in the next year or so. For any real follow through, the worst congress ever, of the past several years, will need to change its sorry stripes and show enough balls to accomplish anything that is at all positive.
it must take advantage of any environment that will support its claims that steady economic progress continues to be made. It should have just hiked the damn "rate" by .25 points today, rather than waiting for a reason to say that things are just not good enough for a 0.5 overnight funds rate, due to a sad excuse, they might find, like a taper tantrum. Commodities, especially oil, had stabilized quite enough for a (lmfao) 0.25 rate hilke Let's see if Yelllin can do more than screw the pooch and tap dance around it. Let congress own its #$%$ instead of the rest of us who are doing the actual heavy lifting. Screw the damn republican party and the half sincere others!
