From persoally expereince, UPS is a hose bleep
company who has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. DOn't ship anything
with these guys. They destroyed my monitor and they
refuse to honor my insurance cuz they said i packed it
wrong. Christ why bother insuring it then? and I am not
a professioanl packager. This company will go fast
if they don't change their currnt busines attitudes.
    FED ex all the way

No where in teh history of the market has a stock
with so much backing and momentum go down. No all the
brokers supporting this stock are not idiots. Neither am
    I. this stock may not keep going up but its a SOLID
    stock for years to come.

When is Qcom's 4 for 1 split date? Has it been announced? Or just speculation?

  • This company is doing well cuz it bullies and its
big. In terms of customer serivce, it ranks LAST IN MY
BOOK. I shipped a monitor last month, they damaged it
ripping a hole in the box. U know what they told me when
I filed for the insurance? My package was
improperly packaged. Lol, why did they acceptt he package
then? Do I look like a professional packager? That is
weak and will be UPSs' eventual downfall.

The monitor was packed by a professionl computer
company. They ship hundreds of packages a week. Where
would this end? If UPS simply claims fulty packaging on
everything, where is the customer's sense of security? Why
buy insurance? Frankly, i will not buy anymore
insurance from UPS, if they are not going to honor it.

isn't that what insurance is for? Where is the
customer's protection? They can simply claim faulty
packaging for everything. A friend of mine sent some
chinaware to his son in college in teh original pckaging.
UPS shattered it into 30 pieces and guess what, they
claimed faulty pckaging too. Doesn't anyone see a
possible problem here? This hppened in a span of 2 weeks
so I am sure I am not the only guy they are pissing

If u like the stock fine. But I doubt it will be
good long term if they kep up there current practice.

Its not bitch and moan bord, that is true. But I
think as teh STOCK doctor, u need to know all aspects
of a company. Sure the financial sheet is strong now
but in the end its a business that deals with
customers. If not improved, it will drag the stock down. It
will be in even more of a pedestal now its publicly
traded with investors keeping their eyes on every little
bit of unfavorable news. I am just offering my 2
cents about what alot of people feel about this
company. WE meaning people who do alot of shipping.

What about the customers like me who are
genuinely screwed over? I am not pulling a scm. The fas\ct
is, the monitor I sent was working and it came out
not working. How will I ever feel confident about
shipping anything of any value anymore? Where is my
security,. Of course its my word against a multibillion
dollar company. No one is gonna care about n average joe
like me now. But it builds up eventually.....

I am glad to see there is alot of intelligence

So I guess shipping with UPS is at your own risk
or pay 50 bucks to get professionaly packaging. Even
then, if they come back with the standard INADEQUATE
PACKAGING, there is nothing I can do either. I guess noone
else sees the inherent problem in that except
    me....There is no customer security.

  • I am a optimistic AOL long but this seems kind of
too optimistic. U are telling me after the
split..which will be about 80, its going to go up to 200 in a
month when 2000 hits? I sure hope so but I doubt it.

That monitor I shipped was packed teh same way
going from seattle to SF, that trip was shipped via US
MAIL and nothing happened. The shipment from SF to BOS
via UPS, the monitor comes out not working. You heard
what the UPS customer for 20 years said " ALL CLAIMS
packaging" Where does it stop and where is the customer

80 year old company that has been privately held.
And when its privately held, its not sucesptible to
public scrutiny on its every little move. Like I posted
after its initail IPO high, UPS must improve its
customer relations for them to go anywhere in the eyes of
th public. Don't flame it, I know most of you know
this is true. If they want to continue blame
EVERYTHING they break on INADEQUATE PACKAGING and blame it
on their customers, sooner or later, the customers
will get tired of it. As a shipping company, customers
    are its lifeline.

Btw, I have filed a claim
with my smal claims court vs UPS to get the moneyback
for the monitor they damaged. And I will continue to
use UPS but I will NEVER ship anything of value ever

Are u on crack? Free ISPs are crap. Broadband is
teh future. Aol will be getting into that soon with
partnerships with At and T and DSL companies. Free ISPs are
the future? Man u are funny. HAve u ever tried using
one? They are horrible. Sure if they give me free DSL
I might go for it. But right now I only use them if
My DSL goes down and that happens like never with my
NORTHPOINT (NPNT:good stock by the way with FCC ruling
    tommorow) connection

They can basically have anyone drive the bus.
Even if the merchandise are worth 500,000. When UPS
breaks something, they don't have to do anything. They
will simply turn tot he customer and tell them
inadequate packaging. Been there and done that.

All I am saying is true and has gotten alot of
agreement on this board. UPS investors should not be blind
to this. I mena, u can love a stock but u need to
understand the negatives of a compnay too. And sometimes the
    truth is a bitch.
