Of course, the first shipments go to themselves, lowering costs with this whole modular, no oil, etc. system. How much do they lower costs by over teh course of a year? They say it's revolutionary. Could it reduce compression costs by 10%?
Well, this compressor exploits a global market, so it may go bonkers or it may not, but at least it has the potential. Their fuel sales are limited to the U.S.
My guess is that now that the R and D aspect of this product is done, it will shift to marketing. How many of them do they have to sell? What's the yearly market for huge compressors? How much gross margin per unit at the 1000 or 10,000 sales levels?
