OK,so I was told by a display that I needed to update my browser so as to make Yahoo Finance work. I am on the latest version of chrome on an android tablet running KitKat and see no conversations link on the home stock page. I had to do a search on google for this term to have this page displayed. I consider what Yahoo has done as cut off some of us loyal users, hurting both of us, I have already begun to use other financial sites for basic information. It is incredible how much more difficult Yahoo has mad the simple request of displaying dividend history for a previous time period. It is as though the designers were told to create a format to make a users navigation more difficult. They have succeeded.

Higher yield from MCC vs. greater safety from MRCC with a lower yield. Do these BDC operate that differently to produce such a different profile?

Thanks for the suggestions. Checked out both and learned that most of CLM's "divs" consist of return of capital. The stock price has held up up.

ARR's yield is similar to that of WMC, but may have a more positive future potential. I know that this company is not looked upon as favorably as ARI or NLY, but its yield is attractive and its stock performance suggests that the worst might be over. With WMC, one of my larger MREIT holdings, as has been suggested on this board, the worst may not be over, and I wouldn't want to see any more div drops, while there are alternative MREITs to invest in. Any comments on ARR as a decent replacement for WMC?

Currently hold one silver stock, am looking at some ETFs holding silver.
Is there an additional tax consequence with the biz of USLV and SLV? I have read that when ETFs get involved
with futures, etc., there is a different tax consequence than buying shares of silver stocks such as SLW and HL.
Some of the "ultra" and "velocity" and "ETNs" I have read may have different tax effects on the buyer due to the
nature of their investments. From the silver stocks and ETFs I have looked at so far, recently, HL and USLV have had the highest appreciation.
