Do you think you can hire or takeover a sales force of 95 people and think they are all going to like you and agree with you how you want things done......It will never happen....There will always be a handful that complain and complain no matter how good it might be......If I would've been TC I think I would have fired the first 60 sales reps and hired people that were going to be loyal to me not some schmuck that doesn't work there anymore......I deleted a post I put up a short time ago and it might have taken out someone's response...I apologize if that happened.....Re-post it if you like at least I will understand it...

I don't think a hand full of supposed crying sales reps out of almost a hundred is a viable or accurate assessment of the over all sales force.....I think TC for the first 6 months was analyzing data and market strategies plus hiring and training the 30 to 35 new sales reps.....Maybe the crying reps on that board liked Abe because they were getting paid well for poor production and doing what they felt like in the field and when TC came in the party was over because he had a plan and expects people to follow it as would you or I if one of us was in charge.......But again this all speculation on both our parts.....
Abe was weaker than cat urine and I think everyone under the sun could see that....

If TC improves numbers as we have seen since Abe took a hike in March. I don't care who likes him......He was brought in to increase sales and that's exactly what he's done......Scripts Q1 around 7700 Abe....Scripts Q2 13,100 TC....More power to him and the ones who don't like him should hit the trail....
Since approval this whole enchilada has been about getting into formularies and sales execution......Slow on formularies...Slow sales because of lack of formularies on board early on......Now it's back to sales execution again and everything else is just noise......EXECUTION EXECUTION EXECUTION......

Well I am just guessing but I don't think any heads will roll yet.....If they fire someone now like the CEO or the CFO it would look to apparent to the ongoing litigation that they messed up.....Without knowing the facts we're just speculating......We don't know how often batches are produced...Are they made everyday or are they ran for a few days to get the inventory built then shutdown to produce a different drug.......Just to many variables to know anything and with ongoing litigation we're probably not gonna hear anything until we start filling scripts again or an update on the Q3 CC.....Now the FDA doesn't like disruptions and tries to assist in the process of getting drugs back on the market but you never know how fast or slow that could come......I think Greg probably gave a worst case scenario with the mid November projection.....What he said is to make sure this doesn't happen again and by going by the pdufa date for the 2nd manufacturer to be online along with the one in question is the safest way I suppose it could be stated.....Look for the worst and but hope for the better then we won't be disappointed again....If the FDA moves faster we have a pleasant surprise.
I don't they will start back up until both are up and running unless the backup can produce a large enough amount to sustain any further manufacturing disruptions on either part of the two manufacturers.
It's unfortunate that these things happen but this is one thing you don't want to have happen a second time.....Mean while we can all sit around with our thumbs up well you know where and wait.. That 3-5 year timeframe I have talked about is looking good at this point for maximum share price if they don't sell it first.....Who knows maybe this has lit a fire under MGMT's hide side and now they might be on a mission from God similar to the Blues Brothers to show everyone that they can run this company.......Let's all hope so.......

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Never knowing which way it'll head.....North South East West......That's our share price until we get our next update from our astute MGMT. team.....

Oh I should add that the manufacturing difficulties for ZS-9 could possibly take up to six months to correct and then they would have another 6 months to wait for FDA approval.......So Veltassa has a chance to get somewhat of jump on the market while ZS-9 is twisting in the wind for approval....
ZS-9 probably mid year 2017 approval.....

ZS-9 was rejected for a manufacturing issue which is expected to be taken care of and the drug could be released in 2017 about a 6 month delay......Veltassa has a black box warning label that could choke a horse but they are submitting to the FDA results of a positive phase I trial with drug interactions in CKD and Heart Failure patients to try to get the black box removed.....The company says they would like to reduce the time from 6 hours between other medication dosing down to 3 hours.....The script totals for Veltassa for June according to the report I read said prescriptions covered and filled were 1723 and hospitals and institutions registered another 392......So around 8 months after approval they did 2115 scripts for the month of June.....ZS-9 could be on the market by the time they get an answer from the FDA.....The report I read was on Bidness Etc. Relypsa Headed for Soaring Growth via Veltassa Success......If I was a RYLP I sure wouldn't want to take that buyout......The report said it's a $6 billion market with no approved drugs for more than 50 years.......Butler probably thought it was a lame deal and he's probably correct....I don't have any money in either one but it is an interesting subject........

That is $39.5 million is total inventory.....Last year 2015 Q2 that figure was $41.8 million.......Everything that goes into producing Auryxia....It you scroll down to page 6 a good ways down on the 10Q there is a heading about inventory.....Which includes amounts related to materials, third party contract manufacturing and packaging services and manufacturing overhead......To me that means all products used in the manufacturing and selling of Auryxia...
We've all taken a beating on this and I can tell you I have seen numerous CEO's over the years who will not talk about share price......I mean we all know why the price dropped last year, Ron was in charge and decided he wanted the drug launched without fully understanding the process of being a first product launch. Now either he didn't listen to Greg or Greg let him hang himself out to dry and became the CEO and we know why the price dropped now......

FROM THE TIME THIS PRODUCT WAS APPROVED IT HAS BEEN ALL ABOUT EXECUTION.........

And in my opinion Ron Benstur should be considered the primary cause of the share price drop last year..Geezus we didn't have Fresenius or Davita for 10.5 after approval.....Don't you think if they would have taken their time and worked the formularies for another Quarter non-stop before launch that we would have maintained the share price better...But no let's launch this thing and all of us can run around like a bunch of chickens with their head cut off and look like fools which they did.....I think Ron quit because he realized he screwed up and had no effing idea how to handle a launch into a space that had been dominated by 3 drugs for almost a decade and a half.....I made a bunch of money with Ron, but this how the cow ate the cabbage......

First it's the responsibility of the manufacturer to inform the FDA of any supply chain disruption not KERYX.....That comes from the FDA website......

Now moving on to the lawsuit......Now I'm not an attorney but I did have a Ribeye, Baked Potato and a Caesar Salad last night.......This will boil down to just 2 items....(1) When did they find out about it and (2) When did they disclose it.......

When did the manufacturer finally tell the FDA......Did they do it immediately or did they tinker around a day or two trying to figure out what happened and trying to correct it....The same goes for when did they notify KERYX that the supply was going to have to be trashed.....I did a guesstimate on another post that the $1.9 million they wrote off was give or take a 50 to 55 day supply.....So those are answers we don't know.....

After looking around more I found that supply chain disruptions happen much more than I ever suspected, but like I said to me this is all about those two questions.....Like over 200 in 2011...

Now KERYX were represented by Alston and Bird which is a top law firm.....Since the move to Boston I don't know if they still use them but I can tell you after the Perifosine failure the lawsuits came and the Plaintiffs walked away with nothing...It was dismissed....This is different this time but if they still are represented by them or anyone else that knows the business they would be walking them thru what needed to be done.....

I have seen a couple people speak of $35 to $39 million in supply probably pulled from a Q report.
I think those figures could be supplies paid for and warehoused waiting for processing not finished product....We just have a bunch of unknowns that we could all speculate about......How long would it take to manufacture 7.5 to 8 weeks of product ? I have no idea how fast they can build supply.....This could've happened very quickly. Who knows ?

My brokerage shows short interest daily and obviously they do share, I don't pull the numbers out of thin air...So I beg to differ with you and by no means is my broker some scam house......You really should not make comments like this if you don't have the facts to back it up......Opinions don't get it.....Maybe you should change brokerages......I'm p----d they don't also show buy to cover.....

RLS787....That's how many shares were shorted yesterday and held at the close......I would imagine there was a bunch of covering yesterday......I think just under 17 million shares were short on the 15th of July short report which would be 16% to 17% plus give or take a little of total shares outstanding.....So a day under that % considering what has happened isn't totally bad......I've seen days when KERX would be showing 15 to 20% short interest consistently.....But since our move up began a few months ago the numbers have been dropping.......Like from 38 million shares short now down to under 17 million is a huge drop.....Now that 759K is a big number but the % of shares shorted relevant to yesterdays volume is below average.......I hope this doesn't make you confused....
