I'm getting tired of these so called discussions. I have tried to engage Dao in civil exchanges but he cannot string together 2 posts without picking the corn out of someone's #$%$. He was clearly picked on as a child and feels the great need find flaws in others. Gotcha posting. It's too bad because, as I have stated in the past he does add value but his personality just gets in the way.
Not that anyone would care but I'm going to back off this board until things start to heat up one way or another.
New gig starting up next week.
Hey #$%$, I was responding to Patsfan who quoted the 8/31 report. Showing the short interest down over 300k shares. Then they obviously went at it again when they sensed this was going to drag on with the CMOS etc. is anyone surprised that it jumped? I'm not. Was I surprised when it dropped per the 8/31 report, ya kinda but I thought perhaps it was smart to get out then and continue to get out. I thought it was a golden opportunity to exit then and now but hey these guys a pretty smart until they get bludgeoned. With this stock I call it based on current conditions and I don't need your approval. So again, what's your point ? Again, this from a tool who loves to Monday morning quarterback but will not put out a bold call of his own. That's it your name from now on is Uncle Rico. "Could have gone State if the coach just put me in the game"
Uncle Rico the Monday morning QB.
Simple question: has the short position increased? Yes or no? and does that surprise anyone?
I responded to Kerx buyout poster. Not gas. Not you . I didn't break it into weekly increments . I didn't pass go or collect $200.00 ( because I'm sure your gonna call me on that) please for the love of God.
Well who is suprised the shorts increased? The company basically told the market they were going to be out of business for a quarter. Not much reason to cover. What did you all expect ,a run to cover?
If you accepted my 2015 gift and bought DLTH you probably have made close to 100% profit by now. Hold it.
My early present to you this year is LL. Looks like they have cleared the legal overhang and are about to take off.
This was a $100 stock a few years ago . This has held up very strong this week despite the down days.
I personally think anything under 20 is a great entry. Check it out.
Do we all feel this will continue until 12/1? It is a little later than I was hoping for but makes sense if Pantheon will not get approved until mid November.
Norwich is toast IMO. Again, why do we need to find this out on a MB and not directly from Opie?
Since you like to criticize people like gas for going out and making a call about the buyout this summer. BTW, I I would follow his 500+batting average over most .
So let's here it, what is your prediction for Kerx. To your credit you put out much to consider but to my recollection just don't seem to bring it home with a prediction. So put your set on the table and tell us game players what's going to happen.
Dao, you really make it a point to state your posts are your opinion. You state it a couple of times in his last post (which was very good) but I must ask. Do you work in the renal industry? You seem to possess above average knowledge of the details . If you don't want to answer I understand but you seem to go overboard with the disclaimer which makes me suspect you are pretty close to this business if not work in it.
Ray, all good points. I guess I have to wonder why they sought EU approval in the first place. I know these guys are knuckleheads but could they not see this coming? What are we missing? Were you around in the early days when I was questioning the EU approval. I was concerned that it would not get approved or get delayed for some reason while Shield came to market., I never expected this though. Losing $ everyday we're not open for business over there. Killing me.
rayon, I think SNY could sell this drug over there. With the right marketing strategy and an entrenched sales force they could ramp this up much faster. I think they could get this to 30M+a year in 3 years with continued growth thereafter. They will eat into their own market share but that will be part of the branding strategy to keep the patient. Predialiysis capture rate is key here and there. Nice upgrade for the patient . No IV iron. You know the spiel.
For sure. I think most of us longs are hoping for this or a version of this scenario to play out. The list of " go it alone"posters is dwindling.
SNY is most definitely looking for bolt on acquisitions just google SNY and M&A. Other sectors of their business taking hits and getting impacted by generics. They have to buy stuff.
Begrudgingly I will admit that this is a very good post Dao. It strikes a chord because the board (or some of us) was hot on the prospects of SNY being the buyer of KERX starting about 3 years ago to stem off the generic hit in the UK (huge) and US. Now with Butler in the mix perhaps SNY wants both AKBA AND KERX to reach into the market at the predialysis stage in both the EU and US. Makes way too much sense.
i like it too but we need to get back in business before I can just get to being anxious.
Hoping for an update soon .
