but did he create a bogus shell corporation and name himself President to appear to be more important than he actually was? Cause James Hickman, disgraced financial analyst, probably wouldn't get you mention anywhere.
it's not a P&D. It's being manipulated down by the shorts. Too bad your buddy is not invested as he is missing out. I'll get in after earnings are reported if they are as expected.
Newark NJ charged Uber $10M to play
$100M Uber lawsuit settlement in 2 states
your buddy, Hickman, was released from prison after a 4 month sentence
So what are the total amount of fines aggregated since their history? $1B maybe? Seems obscene
until it shrinks to ZERO with autonomous driving. You are showing people a light at the end of the tunnel, and that light is literally a train
add em up. I already gave you the $100M and $10M cases. I remember a $25M case. There are many, many others. Did you know that 10 lawsuits have been filed against Uber in the last 60 days? Can you name another company with such a large amount of lawsuits against it? Aren't you curious why they haven't gone public?
Uber’s New York operation has hit a bump in the road.
Big Apple price cuts of 15 percent implemented in late January produced a revenue increase over the next two months of barely 1 percent, according to data obtained by The Post.
At the same time, the controversial rate cut — first reported by The Post — has sparked an increase of 10 percent in the number of fares Uber’s small army of New York city drivers have had to handle, according to Slice Intelligence, a San Francisco-based firm that tracks online sales receipts.
As a result, Uber drivers are having to work more for just about the same pay — pushing some drivers to switch to rival, better paying ride-hailing apps, sources said.
Optical had some sort of software issue which caused production issues. This caused $109M of lost sales and $40M of lost profits
There was a power failure in Taiwan for the Display group which also caused issues
Yen strength caused a $599M hedge mark to market loss on yen hedges. There were gains in Q3/4 of last year due to yen weakness. Not sure how I feel about these hedges.
I think this is the low point for the year. Once Dow Corning is sold off I think we will get some traction. If I read between the lines, they will use cash to buy some other companies
MGN is near BK. Rock Creek is now owned by HL. Figure it out yourself. A mine will be built but not this one and all the jobs will be developing Rock Creek which has more mineralization anyway
do a little research. I have been posting here for years. The company has a GOING CONCERN, had enough cash according to the company only to 1 month ago, is near being delisted, has a DEATH SPIRAL financing, and they sold all their mining equipment to meet payroll.
Seriously, you would recommend this?
believe it or not, after they sell off one division to be completed in june, will have $10B in cash. Have said they will generate another $10B over next few years and will return $10B to shareholders via buybacks and increase of dividend 10% every year.
interesting. short interest down 100K despite a $1 price drop. Goes against what you would actually think. So despite buying by shorts, the price went down 10%. Seems no one is actually buying at these prices. I would wait until earnings to see the state of the company before committing new money here.
still have 5 days to go. Could see 220K+ for April. Keep in mind the previous record quarter not counting last quarter was 593K. So we are well on our way to breaching that.
GG is a small portion of the overall company. I think like less than 10%. Missing $109M in sales in optical due to a software snafu killed Q1. Whoever oversaw that needs to be fired.
