Lists of stocks with high dividend and buyback yields. GLW is #1
We calculated dividend plus buyback yields for the S&P 500, and then sorted the list so that it only included companies trading below the S&P 500’s current-year price-to-earnings ratio of 16.6 and the index’s price-to-book-value of 2.7, as calculated by FactSet. We excluded companies that pay no dividend at all.
GLW 2.67% yield + 20.88% of hares bought back in last year = 23.55%
despite that actual return was -4%
As a matter of fact, the top 10 companies all had negative returns from -2% (AIG) to -53% (Macy's), GLW was #2
Value play or trap?
ex-cash, isn't their PE well under 10? How is that absurd? Q1 also had a few one offs that should be corrected in Q2 and going forward
2.1% of a $6M market cap is nothing and shows insiders do not believe in the company. You are nothing but a shameless shill pumper. Not only that, I don't see a single insider purchase in the last 6 months other than Bell's promissory note.
25K+ shares all at $20.11 right near 4pm and then 500 shares at $22.635 about 1 hour after all the other trades. Seems odd. Fat finger? Mistype?
these guys are inches from BK. That you would pump this POS to unsuspecting folks shows what a deplorable human being you are. this company is being delisted on July 5 and will declare BK on Aug 16 when they fail to pay their $4.1M + interest owed. they are out of money and out of time
PCGS is giving away a 30th anniversary medal at shows to anyone who submits 20 or more coins. So figure that is a $500+ submission with all the fees and shipping. the medal probably cost $5 to make. They are going for $399 on ebay. Something given away is selling for $399 on ebay. Go figure. PCGS is hot right now.
I'm not sure there is a viable plan. Their plan to Nasdaq may have been "we plan to secure a $5M+ funding and/or sell the company by June 30". If no funding is announced or sale by June 30, they get delisted. The clock is ticking.
gold well over $1300 this am and silver nearing $18. Interest rates appear heading lower which means stocks that pay dividends should do well. coin and card cert rates are fantastic, backlog is strong with people actually starting to complain about long wait times. All signs are positive
I am surprised about the general lack of institutional buying. Insider trading window closes end of next week and there has been virtually no selling even at these prices.
boy is your life sad and pathetic. I actually feel sorry for a loser like you who needs to come to a website and get attention. "Look at me. I exist". I know in your non-internet life no one pays attention to you. You are a nothing. wow. It must be hard for you to go on everyday
so the fact that the company has a GOING CONCERN, DEATH SPIRAL, near delisting on two fronts, owes $4.1M due to a creditor in August, is basically out of cash to fund operations, and loses 50% of its business next year has nothing to do with the share price?
I see. It's a marketing issue and those evil, greedy marketmakers.
FYI - I sold it all on the last spike above $3 and suggested you do the same. You and billy got greedy and lost it all. You then tried every dirty trick to P&D the shares. Shame on you.
