I started with a Fat Mac in the 1980's, and was an avid Apple product supporter up until a year ago. I starting extracting myself from them after problems with iCloud made me realize I didn't really own what I didn't control. Apple couldn't fix some of the problems I was having. My high end Mac is now sitting on the ground, dark. Building my own server from Fry's parts running Windows 10 reminded me of the good old days I had with Apple, where I control more of what I own. My only remnant with Apple is iTunes, which now has hundreds of songs on it I never ordered, apparently due to account problems (again). I wonder what the copyright owners would say about that?
