What is your opinion on the 3 weeks before earnings?.... Buy this big dip or sit tight. Should "POP" before earnings. Usually does..... Hope some of these strict gun laws in Colo. and Conn. are built in. Getting frustrating. Have a great day.
I have been in and out of RGR for the past 4 months. Did o.k. on a few trades. Was very happy. Have seen the ups and downs. Often getting in or out too early. Make a few dollars and get back in. I never have shorted this stock. But,,,,,,,investors have to realize that RGR was a 40ish dollar stock not long ago. I got back in at 56ish so I would have 200 shares in case this took off. My thoughts were, If I got a few points out of it, I would take the $600, then keep an eye on it and get back in. If not I would cost average and buy another 200 on the way down. Well, did not buy more yet. Probably pretty soon however, I will. Down 10 points and being out $1800 seems like a lot. On paper it is. I am not too worried about this for now. I will watch it carefully as many of you also do. I do know something for sure though. If I sell RGR for a loss, It will go through the roof! I'm staying in. Right now I am focusing on CAT and Joy Global. Good luck to all of you on your trades,be them long or short. That is your choice. Have a great day and we will all breath a little easier when RGR is up where it belongs. Even if that is a little while away.........
If CLF were bought out...if. Who do you think would be the buyer and at what kind of price per share? Would the shareholders of CLF get shares of the new buyers stock, or how does that usually work. Just wondering. Thanks.
I am in total agreement with you, however I have a question. As shrewd mentioned about not being able to own certain firearms such as full-automatics and sawed off shotguns. My question is. What would stop the government making their list of so called assault weapons, and lump them in with the auto's and sawed off shot guns, making these illegal also. Would making us register our assault weapons and paying an annual tax be against the second amendment? Is not being able to own a sawed of or full auto against the second amendment? The right to bear arms, should be any gun............... Any gun, be it a muzzle loader or a full auto german grease gun. Right What scares me is the word Amend? To me it means,"can be changed" and that is the gray area that frightens me.Thank you.....sorry more than one question.
Thank you,Captain. Just what I was looking for......Another question?? I do not own SWHC as of yet. Almost chased it in the $9's.....Why can't this stock get traction? One would think with sales, it should go through the roof. Enjoy your weekend!
I hear of 120-150 guns to be on the ban list. Where can I find a list of these weapons. I would like to know the breakdown of all the guns on it. rifles, pistols and shot guns. 120 seems like an awful lot Thank you, in advance. Have a great evening and be safe.
Sure, it is a shame this happened. Thank god no one was seriously injured. The sad part is that incidents like this hurt us all. Should not have happened, but it did. Now responsible gun owners get a black eye. Thats the sad part.
Let me get this straight... I have to pay $200 a year, per gun????... I cannot sell it, or GIVE IT to my sons?? As of now an FTA agent needs a search warrant. If this law passes they don't need a warrant. Oh my god. I wonder how many people knew this? I sure didn't. THANK YOU!!! So glad that I asked. If this law is passed, these type of guns would not be worth much. Not many people could afford to pay the ANNUAL TAX.
I have AR's that I have owned for 30 years. None were ever papered. I have no police record. I would consider myself a sane, good, law abiding citizen. My question to you guys, who follow this closer then I. Will a federal law require me to register these guns?, so they know who owns them and where they are. Also if I would decide to keep them, but not register them..... I would imagine these guns would be in violation. I am thinking the FINE would out weigh owning a unregistered gun. Nationwide registration on AR's, in the eyes of the President, is not infringing on the second amendment. I disagree. For the people that do not register these weapons, the guns could not be taken out in public and enjoyed for target shooting, or hunting for that matter. I am sure we will find out. It does not look like this is going away, it seems to be ramping up. Our governor is a hunter, hopes this helps. A good and safe weekend to all of you. Respectfully, Don
Not so sure dem. Obama is doing a lot of things that he should not be doing. I have a funny feeling he is going to pull something. Might be illegal or against the law,but I think he will try. He is going to make it miserable to own a so called assault weapon. And I'm thinking that he can do it legally without banning them....Taxes, registration. He thinks he is the law. He does have a lot of money on his side, including some NRA members and police (nation wide). Scary, Much more money than the NRA ever thought. Don't like how this whole thing is shaping up. The sad part of it is there are quite a few NRA members who felt the impact of gun related deaths with AR's. Some member were the parents of the young victims in Conn. This I personally saw in an interview........we'll see how all this plays out,I guess.
Obama wants to know who has assault weapons as well as where these guns are located. Pre-ban guns, I would guess. Wants to put a tax on registering these so called assault weapons. I have no military guns, however I have guns in my collection that could be called assault weapons. A 22. cal Winchester 1890 pump......Browning 13 shot 9mm........ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!.....Who has "the list" on what is BANNED. Thank you.
Thank you. In your opinion could this pass?? Would make it a lot easier for other states to do the same if these laws are passe in N.Y. getting down to the nitty-gritty now. Going to get real interesting in the near future.

Sad but true. These documents are public information. Thieves can find this out on their own if they care to take the time to do it. There are people that get their "kicks" out of looking up other folks criminal records, traffic records, property taxes, divorce, death and birth records. It is all out there. And in many places. Not a crime to request this information. Very easy to obtain if you want to nose around. People that search in other folks business, need to get a life. Everyone worries about their SS number that can be gotten as easy as a telephone number or address. It is not just big brother watching. It is neighbors, bosses and yes, even your friends. After all these "nosy rosies" see how upsetting posting this gun info is making us........probably be more.
I would bet sometime in your life, be it sickness with a child, friend or parent. Trouble, be it finance, work related or legal. You prayed to God. Yes, God does exist. Look around you.
I researched this weapon. The rifle almost looks like a Army M-1 carbine, but seems much smaller. It is offered in many versions with many accessories. It shoots a .223 cartridge. Magazines offered for this particular gun range from 10 to 30 rounds. With one supplier boasting larger magazines. Kind of expensive, I thought. With a price in the $800 range. Does not really appeal to me but to each his own.
