By the time analysts & investors figure out how good ONVO is & how disruptive ONVO's technology is, it will already be up hundreds of %. This is like AAPL in the 1980s.
Happy Birthday, Juggsy! I turned 61 in June. With no gray hair I don't look it, but sure feel it sometimes! Love your posts, & hope you had a wonderful Birthday! Looking forward to double-digits on ONVO within a year from now.
ONVO closed @ 3.80 support level, right on the nose. ONVO was overbought & near overbought since early July thru early Aug. Then ONVO became oversold today, & bounced up to the 3.80 support. Normal stock behavior. Interesting to see if it bounces up or breaks down at 3.80 level tomorrow. If it breaks down, mid 3.30s - mid 3.40s would be next. Maybe Conference will bring good news.
Yaaay!...Fully loaded on ONVO now. First account finally below $7 cost basis @ $6.99! Stock market may continue down, but I don't care. ONVO may or may not continue down with it...this is a triple-digit stock one day.
Ave pps of $5.79 w. both accounts together. $7.25 in one & $3.84 in the other. First round in ONVO was May thru June 2012...Got out & back in since Feb 2014 when ONVO $10. Raised limit for total investment in ONVO & like 250 more shares to max out. After kidney tissue released, $4s will be in the rear view mirror.
And ILMN doubled in 2007 & again in 2008, while stock market was rolling over & tanking! It split 2:1, & then wound up around the same price it split at. I remember during 2 stock market pullbacks, ONVO going up on down days, more often than expected. Like an unexpected hedge!
If so, that will probably be the last chance to buy ONVO under $5. Because once ONVO passes $5 on its next run & breaks thru $5.50s, it will leave $4s in the dust & never look back.
You got it! Good move. I won't go over a certain amount of $ in any 1 stock or ETF, so gotta wait for a lower price. Might not get there anymore, but still in good shape for my ONVO goals & happy!
Will hold at least part of my ONVO positions the rest of my days. Soon as I can pay off mortgage by selling half my shares in the taxable account (25% of total shares), only selling those shares. Keeping the rest of ONVO for my retirement & partly for the unexpected.
Same here, Owl! At $250 or $125 2:1 stock split, I can pay off my mortgage & still keep half my shares! This is like Apple in the 1980s, before Forrest Gump mentioned the "fruit company".
ONVO could just as easily go up to $5.50s resistance level or regroup at $4.25-$4.33 support level. Hard to tell which one it will hit first. But I would also like to buy 250 more shares. Will buy them if ONVO bactracks to $4.25-$4.33. $4.31 will get cost basis below $7 in 1 account, already way above cost basis in 2nd account. Not sure it will get back to low $4.30s. But if ONVO keeps going up & doesn't look back, I will still be happy.
Organovo Holdings was mentioned on FBN "After The Bell" today. Topic was new technology. Question was, "What's next, after the computer chip?" Guest said 3D bioprinting & 3D printing. He mentioned the bioprinting of Organovo Holdings, "Organovo's cells are actual human body cells, & it's amazing how the cells organize themselves". Commentator asked, "Yeah, but aren't those kind of stocks too volatile?" He answered that the volatility is high while they're still young & developing, before the technology catches on. He said the 2 biotech companies (incl. ONVO) are still volatile right now, but that bioprinting & 3D printing are the next disruptive technology. Good to hear business news mentioning ONVO, more of that to come!
Wow, why so defensive? ONVO is my biggest holding in 2 accounts! The truth is, after a big runup, stocks backtrack some. That happens 100% of the time. You must've not seen my last 4 words "before another big run." Get a grip!
ONVO was overbought, and stock market needed a breather. No big deal. I expect a double-digit drop in major indexes this year & in ONVO, before another big run.
$3.84 in 1 account, $7.29 in another account, $5.57 both put together. Hoping for 1 pullback to get $7.29 cost basis down to $6s. Just one more time...
