During the steep market drop in 2008 Ford Motor Co. stock fell to almost $1 on the NYSE. GM and Chrysler nearly went bankrupt before being bailed out by the US Govt. Don't sweat ONVO in this one.
You guess poorly. Notice that Pfizer removed troglitazone after paying $900 million (in testing permits, etc.) - cheaper than being sued for several $ billions. See the difference after evaluation using Organovo's 3-D liver tissue?
"Don't expect any significant financial results in this fiscal year from Organovo's kidney tissue. Over the long run, however, it should make plenty of money for the company.' - Motley Fool, 8/12/2016. Invest for the long term, not the short run.
Misprint? "By 2016, the precision market is to be valued around $40 billion." Maybe should have been written as, "The market for precision medicine in 2016 has an estimated value of around $40 billion," Sometimes pickiness pays.........
Donald's statement could be true now these days since your demigod fired most of the generals who truly know the situation.
Sadly, it looks that way. The concept is good, and the products are good as far as I know. But we need contracts and lots of them.
Based on what we have read over a few years, it looks as though implantations of CIAB's holding either Melligen cells or pancreatic beta cells has more potential profitability than tests with cancer drugs. I own stock in this company and to the shorts probably look like a "bagholder." But I am becoming deeply concerned that no tests of any kind are being done and no specific dates or locations for tests or research team leaders have been set. Attending conferences and meetings is nice, but all talk and no action accomplishes nothing except frustration and loss of company value.
Maybe so, but Obama's policies have been hostile toward pipeline construction and the American/Canadian fossil fuels industries while he plays ":footsie"with the Iranians and Arab O & G industries.
Maybe you will defend yourself with a slingshot, or with a psychiatrist's couch. Happy ignore day to you, too!
Another desperate post by a loser liberal who can't stand the heat of not getting his/her way. Welcome to ignore, Igmo, along with you other loser aliases.
They are ForwardFlash, Two_ Black_Cats88, Professional_Trader, Pink_Panties, and Chandler_Danforth, who appear to be the same troller probably paid by the DNC.
Sounds like hatred for the truth, sanity, and freedom has long been in your DNA.
Does PMCB have a working relationship or "open door" communication with with Harvard on this? The way Melton's statement reads, it looks as though he is directly involved with PMCB; or your post was part of another post that I did not get. Thank you.
Possibilities of growing hair follicles in vitro from skin leading to implantations for baldness without requiring removal elsewhere? Does L'Oreal have a lead on this?
Doc, Do you think that 3-D printed islets for Type 1 diabetic patients must be printed from patient-specific cells or might they be printed "donor" cells? Do you think auto-immunity would be a factor? Thank you for your interest and your other comments on ONVO.
But if PGH sells to another company, he will make loads of money, and we all should benefit.
