"The price per share is elevated on rhetoric and hype. One day it will correct" I've been hearing that off tune song since Tesla was $35. I heard that song at Amazon. I heard that song at Apple.
to those who actually believe a short position is a viable investment strategy with Tesla, the totally obvious paid and Overblown media attack on Tesla by supposed OIL interests and ICE luddites is so apparent that one wonders how anyone could believe such tripe. We all know the limitations and inherent risks in Tesla and those are factored in.
The PPS stability and todays increase means that intelligent investors are not influenced by Seeking AlphBS and media with their hands in the pockets of Oil and ICE. Get over it luddits! ICE is going the way of the VCR and Audio Cassette, and to the middle East we won't need your stinking oil anymore.
20 million to a 158 million share float is not unexpected for any startup biotech. Certainly Geron's increase in share float over its lifetime is not at all unusual. For example look at the heinous increase in dilution by OCAT/ACTC which also started at about 20 million but blew their investors away by increasing their float to over 4 Billion. yes that is 4 Billion prior to doing a smoke and mirror 100 down to 1 reverse split.
ACTC could never recover from that dilution and their toxic financing which could be why they sold at essentials pre-split value of 8 cents. Only the ACTC board of directors was pleased with that!
Now to truly compare floats let us look at a company also serving MF, namely INCY who has a share float of 163 Million and a current PPS of $85 (down from a 52 week high of $133.00. Geron is different (158 Million float) in they are licensing Imetelstat but I can still see at least $20 to $35 a share for Geron once MF and MDS trials prove successful. .....and higher if other Drug Combos with Imetelstat are forthcoming.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
You still remain evasive to a simple question about a board directorship with ACTC. I don't regret the past I learn from it. Following the characters who outwardly obsess about trading and moonkieeeies and other juvenile nonsense but who supported a company egregious to 99% of its investors just keeps the spotlight on those who would rather everyone else forget.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Yo Muggy why did you never squawk about the billions of shares of dilution at OCAT nor mention that one the ocatian CEOs failed to report millions of shares that he sold. Yes the SEC did know about OCAT and had them under investigation. You have never publicly stated that you were or were not an OCAT board director. I've always had the suspicion that you were. Just say yes or no publicly here and I will accept that.
There is even a Morango - Strawberry Hard Candy. Type in Strawberry in any English to Portuguese translator and you get Morango.
Considering the content of his Posts his name should be Raspberry and translates to framboesa or Blackframboesa
The good thing about BM is that he was able to integrate (finally) the overwhelming evidence that OCAT was just a POS and changed his mind about that company. I think in the end when incontestable evidence starts to come from the two Imetestat trials and Geron's PPS finally has its day that BlackM will change his tune,
I looked up highland liu cha and there was no evidence of any such thing. LOL
And now for the rest of the story. Marago (means Strawberry), I opine that he was a fund manager that had his company invest heavily in Geron prematurely when Imetelstat was in its formative stages. The Maui investor meeting was the downfall of BM from his coveted fund managing position as the company either booted his backside out or punished him by shorting Geron and making him post daily on the Geron Board at least 20 times a day.
It seems that in the last 5 years or so many of the dumb longs frustrated in other tech and biotech stocks reversed course and transformed into dumb Tesla shorts.
Post reverse split OCAT went from essentially 4 cents to 8 cents and sold Really at 8 cents. Yep a real win (NOT)for OCAT investors who saw about a 4 billion share dilution from the IPO and 98.8 percent of it's value. Seven dollars to 8 cents pre-split or 700 dollars to 8 dollars post split. That is why the vast majority of its investors fought this so called deal. I invested at 8 cents and hurriedly sold at 7.7 cents just before the reverse 100 done to one split once I looked into the history of this pathetic company.
The ONLY real winners were the BOD. Right Muggy?
Muggy, Muggy, Musggy tisk tisk, tisk why pray tell did you not post here a few days ago when the market was diving yet Geron went up about 4.5 percent. You did not opine that Why?? IMET? Janssen? If none of the two, then who or what else?!!! was moving the price up?
Being always negative makes one's motives suspect.
Muggy, how come OCAT's ceo took more than 4% of the market cap and you never complained about that but screech like a cat in heat about Scarlett?
Mercedes is a fine car but they are finally getting the message that TSLA is taking their market away from them faster than they can respond. A pathetic attempt at a response was an email from them saying they are now taking pre-orders on their 2017 E class. I can see the Mercedes market people all scrambling and saying uh it work for Tesla maybe people will do the same for us. 200 years from now historians will have trouble trying to figure why so many choose to stay in outdated and outclassed ICE machines after Tesla became available.
