Look at my previous posts on TWLO and LEARN! Today a new 13F filing. Hedge Funds are buying up the float ahead of positive news, when it comes, there will be limited shares available and the stock will soar. My price target ( look at my previous post) when the stock was $34 was $45-60 in 6 mos. that will prove conservative as it will hit that target within 30 days.
Youwhoiwho, Amazing you're the only sign of intelligent life on this board. Not one of the commenters offered any intelligent information to prove ELTP has anything worth even their current market cap. So sad these people call themselves investors. For those who ask, why are you here if you have no interest? A friend with a large number of shares asked me to look at it. I looked and didn't see anything worth calling this an investment. PURE gambling, the domain of those ignoring facts and praying for a home run.
Boy you penny stock investors are really dumb! The chart is important when important news is about to be announced and MANY people have been exposed to the possible announcement. LIKE all the testers, the people being tested, government people, ELTP employees, etc etc. Good luck gentlemen, yes one in a million also hit the lottery. I read the entire 10K and have NO interest in this lottery ticket.
NOBODY on this board knows anything about the chemistry and nobody knows all the possible competing drugs in development. Your investment in ELTP is nothings more than a lottery ticket. ELTP SOLD 50% interest in this hot new drug for $15 million!!! If it's such a blockbuster on the verge of approval, why only $15 mil. There are potentially nearly ONE BILLON FULLY Diluted SHARES. Finally a little story. In reviewing a drug stock I noticed it had fallen steadily from $12 to $6.5 over the last several months. I called in the analyst and asked what was going on. She insisted they were about to get approval of a hot new drug. I said when? She said any day. I told her NO WAY it's getting approval with a chart like this. I then asked her if they had any other drugs justifying it's current price and she said they did. I then told her we would keep the stock only if she believed if they didn't get approval the stock only had at most $1 of further downside. She said the downside was in the stock. The next day the company reported they didn't get approval and the stock dropped to $1.5 ! By selling 50% of the rights for $15 mil. ELTP told you it's not that big a deal, especially for a company with a Mkt cap in the range of $300 million! Will they get approval...Maybe. Will the stock go up...Maybe. Is it likely to generate any meaningful profits....VERY DOUBTFUL.
Stock goes from $15 to $41, then consolidates $34-35. Normal action. Good news on sales and new recommendations to follow. TWLO to move higher, price target $60 by yearend.
Fast growing companies often INVEST instead of showing profits in the early years. Ask Jeff Bezos, his stock only went up TEN FOLD while reporting losses over a 7 year period!
You got of love those DUMB shorts who ignore the fundamentals ! Why pick on a stock with great mo both business and stock market, limited float, and where insiders didn't sell on the Sipo, indicating you'll only see good news for the next several months. NOTE to DUMB shorts, find companies with declining fundamentals and poor valuation.
Stock finding it's level before good news starts flowing over the next few months which will make the stock gap up on those days. On it's way to $50-60 in 3-6 months.
Look at the facts: EVERYONE LOVES THE PRODUCT. SMALL float. NO INSIDERS sold on the IPO. usual 180 day lockup. This stock can be manipulated by just a few hedge funds because of the small float, so expect wide swings. However, expect them to push it higher with positive news surely to follow for at least the period of the lockup.
Small float turning over EVERY day. Hot industry with small float = higher prices, but with a lot of volatility!
The IPO market has been dull. TWLO is the first tech. IPO in a hot space brought to you by Goldman Sacks. Only 10 million shares, horribly over subscribed by INSTITUTIONS, I doubt individual investors got any shares. This was a reward to big institutions for buying other GS deals. NO SELLING shareholders means they need to bring you 180 days of GOOD NEWS, before the lockup is over, and they can sell. Investors love growth and momentum. This stock has both, all rapped in a small float, with a huge addressable market. Expect to see it work higher over the next few months.
Investments are all in financial stocks which can't get out of their own way and are the target of the liberal left. Add in the fact that the Economy is looking weaker, and a weak economy could lead to losses and reduced Dividends and that is why KBWD can't get out of it's own way. I own it but looking to sell on any move above $21 in the few months. Expecting the market to go down after the election NO MATTER who is elected.
Management has said they would sell some properties that don't fit their system and use the money to buy back stock at these prices. Lets see what properties are sold ( if any and at what price) that will give us a clue as to how marketable the properties are. If they sell good assets for a small premium that will not impress me. If they sell underperformers without having to write down assets that will impress me.
Why SNR has DECLINED nearly 50% since the spinoff, yet every conf. call they claim they beat the numbers and are ahead of plan. The stock yields over TEN PERCENT!!!! Still little interest. The only explanation I can think of is they overpaid for their acquisitions and while they generate enough cash to pay this dividend today, given their leverage, and the fact they might not be able to sell these properties, except at a loss, makes the dividend and this investment risky.
Your reasons look like the logic which leads to a value trap. Would like to hear that they have new products and that sales grow is faster
If cos was independent, the stock would have hit $12 before the fires in Canada, with oil near $50. COS management was TOTALLY INEPT and just destroyed shareholders, selling out at the bottom and investing billions at the top with no plan to insure they could pay back their loans. The CEO should surrender his CFA, because he doesn't know a thing about finance.
