Typical of Chinese companies that have no concept of the impropriety of insider trader this is what happens. The big question is just how bad it was seeing they are willing to dump at any price. I know this is Taiwan based but it is the same culture. Look at the volume. This is not manipulation. These are really shares being dumped.
The management either feels VERY confident about the future or they're completely crazy. When this company is discovered by investors a dividend track record will only open this to more funds and add fuel to the fire.
The downtrend will continue. The market has given it's verdict and it's unlikely anything in the near term will reverse that. The disturbing thing was this mornings letter from management. Don't like to see that- makes them look very weak and panicked. Unprofessional- like those lawyers that advertise on tv.
OH brother. Of course the MM adjust the share price. That's their whole purpose. To maintain orderly trading by matching supply to demand via price adjustments. You're postings are human emotion on overdrive. Keep it simple; look at the company's financial results (flat as a pancake) and look at the market's response, particularly the volume. Accept it, learn from it and adjust. From that you can improve. Blaming it on a bunch of consulted conspiracy theories just digs you deeper in.
As the hashultz poster. It's all manipulation- only you don't believe it when the price is going the way you want. Listen, himx is a volatile stock in a volatile market. Probably it's not for you.
Here's a typical message board post filled with nonsensical conspiracy theories. Typical because they're all the same; never ANY sort of explanation of how this manipulation is done. Another rambling post that always shows up in response to a price drop that somebody doesn't agree with. Quit looking under your bed for monsters and just look at the Q's results. I mean really, look at the results!
But it's up 50% from the years low. What justification is there for that? Really, look at the results and tell me. The only people that would believe any of this company's hype about the future are those that weren't around for the glass nonsense. This company can only be judged on results achieved (and there's nothing wrong with that) and those results are mediocre at best.
The results were flat compared to last year- put that in your p/e calculator and see what you come up with. Anyone that got snookered on the glass hype will rightfully be very cautious about the potential of AR/VR pumping. No, the share price is actually quite generous when you objectively look at the company.
What's with that PR from this morning? Smacks of desperation to the point of embarrassment. Judging by the down volume my guess is some big holders strong armed management into it to minimize the damage caused by their dump.
