I sold mine today but a better buy is AQXP which I still hold. Baker Bros will pump it to beyond its worth just like they did many other bio stocks. Play the game but cash out with profits before S_ _ T hits the fan.
Growth? Did you read their last earnings report? Why do you think everyone is selling after their report? Growth would be a GE; pays a dividend plus appreciation in the stock price. Similar growth stock would be AVA also paying a dividend.
I think RAD spent way too much remodeling their current stores and it hurt their bottom line. They will need to close 1/2 their stores if the WBA deal falls through.
Under valued based on what? Read the financial statement with a negative net income. Why would WBA want this and over pay at $9.00 a share? I think they realize now this would be a huge mistake. Why would RAD lose a buck a share in just 3 weeks? Because the big boys know at both ends of the deal.
There's a bid right now for 48,000 shares at 7.10. Someone thinks this might happen.
Double the average volume again today. Pretty soon the selling will be exhausted. Always have some available cash when stocks like this bottom.
The first RUMORS of a buyout drove this stock to $9.47 over the $9.00 offer price. If you were only getting $9.00 a share why not sell when it hit that price and take you profits to buy something else? No one knew for sure if the sale was going to happen so why not take the "for sure" profit. You could be making money on the next pick instead of in the hole on a deal that is going sideways. It already hit the offer price!
If the PE of RAD sits at 53 after the stock slid to 7.08 a share, why would WBA pay $9.00 with an even higher PE? WBA already knows this deal is not going to get done even though their latest report said they were confident they would get approval by the end of Dec. What's with the RAD selloff? The writing is already on the (RED) wall.
So you own a stock with a PE of 53 (was 55) and you wonder why it's down? Buy a stock with a PE between 10-18 and take some of the risk out.
You do know they are bleeding money? The EPS is a negative #$%$ That figure is supposed to be on the positive side. Stay away until that figure is out of the red.
