I heard on a Bloomberg interview that David Hung was recently presenting at a conference and the commentator said that he might sink any possibility of a deal because "the company is his baby and he thinks it's worth more than it really might be." I hope that he is being objective about this. I've certainly seen enough CEOs get in the way of their company's/product's further success because they have visions of grandiosity. A large acquiring partner would have the dollars and resources to maximize both the ability to go to market more efficiently with your existing product and bring new product to market as they will have deeper pockets to fund additional trials.
With so little chatter/updates, this is starting to get a little weird.
And I agree with all of you. Why not at least sit down and talk with SNY? You can say, thanks but no thanks but to not even engage seems like poor business practice.
