    barons article

Don't have it, but just got an alert about it from Seeking Alpha. They've had a couple of articles on FTK, themselves. Below is what I got from SA. Enjoy! Nice day for FTK!

Flotek enjoys Barron's bounce, thanks to fluid sales that could triple • 12:38 PM
•Sales of Flotek's (FTK +5.4%) patented Complex nano fluid that makes shale oil drillers more productive could triple in two years, Barron's writes, helping to send shares sharply higher today.
•FTK believes its market share is set to expand from ~5% of U.S. wells today to 15% by the end of 2015; if that's the case, revenues for the fluid could grow from ~$100M to ~$300M in the next two years.
•FTK has been building credibility for a while, and now that management is beefing up its market effort, Barrington Research says, adding that "2014 is the year it's all going to come together for Flotek."

    .0129 ??? today

Most likely. I found out about this stock early last week, on the day it tanked to 0.0121, but then rebounded strongly. And, after doing my DD and studying the chart, I've been waiting for it to retrace to approximately that level one more time, before it says goodbye to that price level forever, IMHO. Sure hope I get it for anywhere NEAR that price within the next two hours! GLTA!

  • reason that it did what it did, today...low of $3.33 closed that gap! And, guess when it happened? During the lunch hour (plus an hour, or so, on either side), when volume is typically at its lowest and stocks can most easily be manipulated. In general, they like to run stocks that are going up, down during the period from 11:30-2:30, and vice-versa. There is NOTHING to worry about! In fact, it's GREAT that this happened, because it means that those prices for PLUG's stock will NEVER need to be revisited, again, from a technical perspective. We're going UP, UP, and UP from tomorrow through Monday morning, at the least. We've just completed a two-day run-down (down two pennies yesterday and four pennies, today...LOL!!!!), which sets us up for a three-day run-up going into and following the CC on Thursday, which will be full of great news! Stop worrying and enjoy the ride! AND, just blow off ANY idiot bashers, who now have their heads so far up their a-ses that you can see the tops of their heads through their mouths...LOL! GLTA longs, not that PLUG needs ANY luck, whatsoever!

    After Hours Idiots

You can't REALLY be so naïve as to think that ANYTHING like this that happens after hours will have ANY meaningful impact, whatsoever, on what the MM's and "big boys" do with this stock, tomorrow, can you? I'm not bashing...just telling it like it is. ANYONE who buys a stock when it's up after hours on "news" like this is absolutely throwing money right out the window (unless some unexpected positive news is released tomorrow morning, out of the blue). And, come on, 3,000+ shares is NOTHING! Give me a break! But hey, you don't know me from Adam, so I'll just let the market teach you this lesson, tomorrow morning. Good luck to you.

I have $100,000, IN CASH, that says the stock NEVER hits $3.49 at ANY point during the post-8 AM pre-market OR the regular session!! It will close at around $3.90, at MINIMUM!! Put up or shut up, you worthless POS!!!! LOL! I DO hope you're shorting the HEdouble-toothpicks out of PLUG on Monday, to provide even MORE fuel to the PLUG rocket ship this week! See you in the bread line on Wednesday! I'll wave to you from my Lexus, as I pass by. ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're spot on! DANG, wish I had free cash. I'd be buying every share I could get my hands on at these PM prices! Remember what it did in the PM on Friday: up as much as 4% on well over 400,000 shares, but ended the day down 1.5%. This PM #$%$ means NOTHING!!! I think we close at exactly $7, today, for the third time since December 23rd. LOL! Or, maybe one penny below this supposed resistance level ($6.99). We'll see.

ALL NEWS BAKED IN - SORRY

    by michshmly Jan 3, 2014 3:06 PM

So, why are all of those things "cooked in" now at $6.72? ARIA was over $18 for 14 straight months, and that wasn't only because of the prospects of Iclusig, by any stretch of the imagination! You're about to find out that they aren't even CLOSE to being "cooked in" at yesterday's close. Check back in next week.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • "I find it interesting that the author fails to mention anything about the significant market potential of ARIA's innovative pipeline of drugs in various stages of clinical development. This is no one-trick pony (I should have added: "or petri dish pretender"...DARN, I just thought of that, and I really like it!), as this ridiculously brief and incomplete assessment of ARIA's perceived value would have you believe. An uninformed investor who doesn't do any follow-up due diligence on ARIA after reading this article would certainly choose to pass it by at today's share price. Apparently, the large number of investors, including several huge institutions (Fidelity and Goldman Sachs being among them), who were willing to pay more than $18 for a share of ARIA for 14 months straight, prior to early-October of 2013, were all completely clueless about ARIA's true value. In fact, now that the FDA has allowed Iclusig to return to the commercial market with a more restrictive label, not too much has changed regarding the company's outlook since the stock was above $20. Iclusig hadn't been a large revenue generator at that point in time, anyway. I hope that another Motley Fool contributor will soon step up to the plate and provide a more balanced view of ARIA's potential."

I hope this addresses most of the major issues that a lot of you have with that author's "skeleton" assessment of ARIA, as an investment. GLTA longs!

If I followed Zack's ratings, I'd ALWAYS miss out on a significant portion of the gains that smart investors reap by being in the right place at the right time BEFORE everyone and his brother joins the "party". ANY idiot can upgrade a stock AFTER it's already up 20%, or 50%, etc. They're always too late to the "game" for my taste.

I believe that my post explains my rationale well enough. But, here's one last response for the evening. If you see large blocks of stock being dumped near the close, and it takes the price down more than 2% in the process, why on God's green earth would that be viewed as anything but a negative indicator for the next day's trading? Who knows? Maybe it was just a head-fake, and there will be a positive press release in the morning that shoots the stock back up. But, the chances of that happening tomorrow are quite remote, and I'm certainly not going to buy the stock on a hunch like that when it's in an obvious down-trend. If I occasionally miss a rally because of something like that, so be it. I'd rather miss out on occasion than buy a stock at a much higher price than I expect to be able to get it at in the near-term. Goodnight and good luck.

For the last time, I haven't been bashing BGMD! Look at every post I've written since Sunday, and you'll see that I always have my long-term sentiment as "Strong Buy". I just didn't think it was a good buy after such a huge run-up. I've never claimed to be perfect! In fact, I'm obviously very far from from it. And yesterday, when someone here asked people to post some of their losing trades, I was one of the first to do so...and it was on BGMD. In that case, I let my emotions do my thinking for me, and I impulsively bought BGMD at $1.17, while it was on its way back down from $1.70. You're entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to mine. And, you're entitled to post anything you want to on this public forum, as am I. I was simply trying to provide some technical analysis for those who were tempted to buy at elevated levels, when in fact, patience would be expected to give them opportunities to buy at much lower prices. I freely admit that I'm hoping to get back into BGMD at around $1.10, or so. And, what's wrong with that? Should I buy it at $1.40 when I expect it to be much lower within days? Nothing that I or anybody else posts on this message board has any impact on the share price. And re. ARIA, I appreciate the fact that someone on another biotech message board recommended it to posters, there. That's how I've discovered most of the great biotech companies that I invest and trade in. You're free to ignore everything I post about it. Good luck to you!

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • BGMD is obviously NOT a pump-and-dump, as some of the bashers here claim. Having said that, from a technical perspective, the stock should retrace to below $1.10 by Thursday morning. It might even go as low as the gap at $1.04. There were two large share dumps in the last five minutes of trading, today. The 58,400-share dump at 3:57 dropped the price straight down from $1.30 to $1.27. Obviously, a bad sign for tomorrow. I'm now two for two over the last two days, despite having been the target of all manner of bashing and insults. Hey, don't blame me for knowing how the stock market typically works. Try to fight the tape, and you will always lose. Again, my calls are always predicated on the absence of unexpected news. I'm far from perfect, that's for sure. But, you don't have to be anywhere near perfect to make a lot of money in the stock market. If you're on target just 70% of the time, you're going to do very well. I hope some of you took the opportunity to buy some ARIA in the $6.60's, today. If not, you can get it right now, in the after-market, for $6.71. Today was the third, and last day, of a relatively low-volume run-down. Over the next three days, it should do extremely well. Please don't bash me now for touting it. Check back with me in three days, and then we'll talk. Good luck and goodnight to all BGMD longs!

I don't expect everyone to listen to me and obviously can't force anyone to trade my way. That's not my goal, here. This is an open forum, and I'm just providing information and my perspective, just like most people, here. End of subject. Have a great day!
