Stock market works based on it's own time line and share price.Unconditional belief in this principle makes your suffering little easier.
Not me Dgroves,Mr.Market has been defecating not only on your posts but on your newly acquired VG shares. This is quite unusual even for individual who has no humility to proclaim knowledge about future direction of share price. In this respect you are really "special" by not only having illusions but committed bunch of sheep following your every step.
I'm officially changing your title and will be calling you either special Shepard or insane Shepard depending what happens in two days.
ps refresh my memory, who was the individual who screamed short squeeze last year when share price passed $7?
Your insanity is reaching new highs as well as mine trying to bring you down to reality.
I don't know if you noticed you're maybe last" tunnelvisioner" left on this mb which ironically may be bullish indicator because your statement is indicative of someone outside of permabull camp.
As always we have come to conclusion about level of insanity all of us have to deal with when investing in individual stocks.
The only measurement i know of is how much we benefit from our speculation as we move along.
So tell me besides your VG original purchase many years ago how much money have you made since with new shares aquired?
I suspect this is not too comfortable topic and you rather go back to your usual theme of "arquing with the market."
Seems to me you get constantly confused with the difference between a company with "solid" fundamentals and company with "attractive" fundamentals to support fast share price rise.
Don't get me wrong in last five years VG outperformed broad market four times so there is no reason to be upset. VG still has potential as a company with stable fundamentals and potential for top and bottom growth but what you demand is not what Mr.Market is willing to deliver so why not keep your mouth closed. It may even help a little if/when you find humility to admitt that.
"These aren't Fundamentals, Jasiop?"
These are YOUR fundamentals. Every shareholder should be interested in Market's view of who's fundamentals match share price.Definately not yours.
To help you realize deep illusion surrounding yourself let me remind you about period of time when fundamentals did not matter as much.Few years ago EGHT and VG followed identical cycle of share price. From $.3 to $5.4 and then fundamentals took over. Do you ever ask yourself how come i have been so disconnected from market's judgement since.
It is obvious to me you have no idea what market's conscience is because if you did you wouldn't have been under water with your last VG purchase.
I encourage you to honestly anayze your emotional state when making subjective statements as well as dig deep into statistical data suggesting that those with strong belief systems are usually "legends in their own mind".
Finally figured it out.The problem is not with you per say but with part of your body called mouth.
Most of the time it opens up VG share price drops.
It is not enough to understand the way stock market works but the way your brain works and correlation between the two.
Based on your recent posts it is safe to assume that you are focused on what may or may not be important at this point but there is a reason behind your concern.More you think about it more critical it becomes in your mind if in fact share price stays flat or goes down.
Important share price inflection points are created during extreme fear environment or emotional exhaustion.
Lack of interest to engage in mb conversations may be one of many indicators that helps Mr.Market to determine what to do next.
CCJ underperforming UUUU for 1,3 and 6 month period. Why is it important?
Because we are maybe in different secular trend called bull.
What's interesting is that TWLO has more than three times average trading volume with less than 10% of VG shares oustanding. This is rare phenomenon which means 1/3 of total float is changing hands everyday.
Potential for extreme volatylity.
Is this a technical testing of secular bear bottom share price taking price, W formation in the making or not?
And if the answer is yes then current price offers best entry level since 2004. If the answer is not then dollar cost averaging is the solution.
What i'm looking at is the similar situation what happened to Sears stock at the end of housing bubble in 2007 where land value contributed to incredible stock price appreciation. As long as TWLO belongs to momentum stocks VG share price should benefit.
