yes those "occasional spikes" you mentioned just happened recently with price jumping from something like $2.75 to $4 and $2.89 to $4.25. "IF" the market does in fact go into correction mode, good chance it will be induced by fear or create fear which could take TVIX even higher this time around. Oh and by the way, yes I said IF because every single human or computer can never predict 100% movement probability, so yeah there is always the "IF" factor like it or not!!!!!!! Even top notch traders bat .300 average and are very successful.
To my knowledge there is no report pending from company tomorrow. Sounds like desperate longs trying to scare the shorts. Rad just reported first Quarter results on June 19th so what are some of you talking about?
Gap up Monday very probable, specially if it closes strong
– Expect to announce China partner in Q4, launch 2016
Slide #8 from today's presentation.
considering it was trading down to $1.76 two days ago. The volume on this sudden upward move has been massive and no reason for longs to be worried. Volatility is here no doubt, but company fundamentals and pipeline seem solid.
Why are some of you talking about company earnings to be released "soon," when in fact earnings have already been released as of last month on the 15th. Do not spread erroneous information please!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
The company stock has taken a nice hit during past week or so. Recovers well on Friday setting up a nice opportunity for a short squeeze and what does the company's do? none other than issue a press release noting allegations of possible patent infringement that can scare current or potential customers into using or buying specific DGLY product. Wow, what are these knuckleheads thinking? We need news about new contracts, not idiotic allegations being made against the company.
On Friday, there was a reversal in price from 9.88 to 11.29 and total shares traded during day was 110,400. approximately a tad more than half of those shares traded while taking the stock to day's low. This mean that it took approx. 45,000 shares to take price up $1.41 from day's low, to close at $11.29. Now out of those 45,000 shares or so traded, are included additional new short sells or adding to short positions, nervous selling, new buyers coming in and yes, short sellers covering their position. Now imagine 99,000 shares currently short trying to scramble to cover at once on a significant upgrade, news release, etc, only to have 100 to 700 hundred shares available per 10-20 cent spread or so, as sellers raise their ask prices significantly. Add to this scenario, the ton of new buyers coming into the stock attempting not to miss the opportunity. Extreme high demand for an extreme low inventory stock and Yes, can you say Short Squeezeeeeeee!!!!!!
Shorting an ultra low float stock is crazy in itself, but DGLY has the products and an up-and-coming demand for it!!! all this turns into revenues and income, which ultimately means increase in PPS.
some will end up extremely angry for not adding at these levels IMO
the question is, what will be the deciding factor that will begin to take it higher. Not sure what is taking another company from taking this one over. Easily this stock could see $12-18 on a buyout.
Compare numbers and you will arrive at same conclution
