  • hmmm what do you know?
    hmmm what do you think?
this company looks skunk black and white, and puke color to me..ok I feel a little GREEEEEEN too!

  • I took the profits off just one gold stock, and I bought 50,000 shares of this stock.

    yeah I had high hopes.
I only did a small amount of research, I knew it was a penny stock.

    the buy-in was so cheap!
and the risk / reward is enough to lift the blood pressure , positively, as does the stock price, negatively.
I haven't had so much fun in my life.
next time, I'm gonna make sure there is a solid business plan, and a REAL source of possible/probably income.
maybe car part company or some such.
but, I can write off this loss if need be.
It's from money I made, so its not out-of-pocket.

its like a trip to Vegas, where you give yourself a loss limit...and then try to have fun with it.
    this is truly a craps-shot.
who knows, maybe they'll strike gold???

I've had this stock for a year. and I look and see where my stock is today, about once a month.
its been a rough ride LOL
    so much red!

Im a Cramer student. I normally no longer buy-hold. I consider myself a fundamentalist(though NOT in tis case LOL)
but I cant ignore a technical much, and a quick profit. normally energy, or gold. they go up and down. I often sell covered calls, to reduce risk(yeah, I cap/lose rewards at times, but easy 20-35 % annual return. bird in the hand!
3% per transaction. I like GG and AEM, learning to go with EGO and others.

they paid for this roll of the dice.
    what a laugher.
ok...dont bet the farm on this so-called company. for a couple hundred bucks you can let it ride.
if you cant afford to lose 2-3 hundred dollars, RUN from the stock market. go pay off your credit cards!
nowwww, if you bought more than a $1000 of this pseudo-company
your money will soon be parted from you.

  • but the stock went UP???
that didnt make any sense to me.
    1 of 2 things maybe,
the stock price had reflected the new down side projections.
the brains always buy on bad news, sell on good.
but i felt they'd all went until X hit 36-38???

is there something i dont see?
    poorer 3rd! flat 4th!!
that puts this stock to sleep for 3 months doesnt it?
I mean, X is doing maintenance now on a lot of equipment , sites. shutting down some places for a bit, stuff one does when the market slowsssss.

thats what i am reading. they were behind in maintenance anyways from q1, q2. demand is low. so they are taking this opp to do cleanup.

the stock should settle down, slip to 36-38, then hopefully Q1 picks up demand and off we go, maybe.
is this the calendar you all see?
and i dont want to hear from guys that blindly pump the X stock without reason.
I want to hear from the brains

  • it baffles me!

    well hind site LOL
India has raised prices in Sept for steel.
    this week has been brutal.
    this stock is being shorted.
when it pops, it will be a big pop up!

    so, I am averaging in.
    I'll buy at 39.
or more likely 40, and 38 should that occur????
range bound figures are low 41.
I discovered a catalyst so I started averaging in.

I want someone to debunk the recent downgrades,
step up and call a bottom!
then zoom, to the moon Alice

Market getting ready to roll over

actually we've had a huge haircut, just in the last 4 days.

I just read where steel prices are rising.
I don't see X going below $41 for any real period of time.

    still, I am averaging in,
and thats the only way to buy stocks. especially in a volatile market/economy.

this crash has been like ww II , Europe acted way too late, then we got dragged into it. but now, we're united. Euro - american interests are being addressed. the recovery is taking time, as they knew it would. the govt is steadily getting their money out of stocks, without making waves. China, India, and South America will help drag us back to the new-normal. the unions will hold on for dear life, until reality causes them to accept the new world order, and wages will wall along with the cost of goods/housing.

but the world needs steel! they dont need cell phones. but they need toilet paper...and steel

  • me likeeee

great place to start averaging in!

this is the heart , the pulse of the american Economy.
if america dies, then having dollars wont matter.
I'm putting mine to work NOW!
did i just read that steel prices are beginning to rise, as analysts downgrade steel stocks?

  • how can cutting out 100 terminals and 1,700 headcount result in a "plus in volume" ???

  • you guys posting about the know unions are BAD for our stock , right??
    think " Eastern Airlines" !!!!!!!!

if they really want to keep their jobs, they can move to Viet Nam

  • I LOVE this phrase.
its quite popular with CEOs nowadays.
I predicate they'll continue using this popular phrase throughout 2011, and into 2012 as well.
though i think the demos will do something to mitigate this condition.

  • Turning to guidance; we expect continued growth in revenue and earnings in the second quarter of 2011 as the global economy continues to grow and yields improve due to our yield management initiatives.
we're gonna fire a whole lot of workers!
and sell the hubs, to pay for the severance pay packages!
    sooooo saddddddd
it sounds so innocent too; the yield management initiatives.

  • I truly do not understand this.
plz give me an educated answer

I felt so relieved after dell over bid last time.
its a great idea to acquire such a company, but...$27?

I heard there are 2 other similar companies out there?

dell, they dont have definition...they NEED to become some kind of new futuristic company.
come on DEll, in for a for a pound!!!?
    for dell, its do-or-die.
HPQ can buy a similar company...for much less!

well, average in of course, because we could go to 36.
the shorts are very active here.
i think 38.5 is a great place to start a new position, a piece at a time.

wow you must have had an idea of future evaluation, based on what?
    certainly NOT the personal computers???
    business. the "cloud"
HP has gained a confidence in recent months/years.
they are gaining ground in business solutions.
if I was a customer, and HP lost their leader, I might review my association? leadership infers future support! the BOD is trying to show they are in hot pursuit of future solutions.
the ship is still on the right course!
if it hits the bottom line harder than one would like, what is the PR worth?
what is securing a customer base worth?
would you rather die a slow death, lose ground to the competition?
seriously, how did you justify $57 a share?
it must have had to do with more focus on the business world side of things? of maintaining PC leadership, and gaining ground on server/data and cloud based technology?
even with a good leader coming on board, it will be some time before we can justify $57!
    we needed a haircut.
and we need an aggressive confident BOD.
would you rather we pull over, park the ship in dry dock until we get a new skipper?
let the competition run all over our grave???
yes, too much money, but great timing. great show of force and confidence, and leadership.
our business customers dont care about our profit line, they care about if we will be there with future business solutions before our competitors.
but ok, lets stop this purchase, lets pull into dock, and yank this ship out of the water, until we get a new skipper.
    a race? with our competition?
well lets pretend there are no winners or losers!
it works with the first graders.
