  • This will be my last comment here, having put in a solid seven years on this board. I'm now completely out of Titan, and I no longer intend to trade their stock or any other one for that matter. It's been lots of fun bickering and arguing, endlessly discussing Titan and other things with all of you since early 2009. I know I've been especially hard on some of you through the years (like Carla Peckerwinkle and DaveTape) and just wanted to say even to those trolls, I hope all your trades pan out. The market's become a tedious activity to me. So, I'm permanently retiring from trading as of today, having liquidated all my equity positions except my GOOG stock, which will eventually pass to my heirs through my trust (as in I won't live long enough to consider selling it.) I'm heading back to Austria, where I lived in the 80s, to enjoy a long due retirement. Best of luck to all of you, most especially Staylon, who first welcomed me here back when all the talk was about Fanapt and Vanda. I'd also like to say a special thanks to Jon Novak, Nowak488, for keeping me so motivated to do DD those first three years. Granted, it became an obsession but then, I wanted to do it. Thanks in no small part to Jon's needling, I actually made a respectable amount of money in Titan in the end. For the record, while I continue to maintain the greatest hatred for the management of this company, what they're trying to do could help a lot of people, if the FDA will allow it. I've more than adequately expressed my own doubts about that fact but for the sake of all those suffering people like those I sat and even chatted with at Titan's first FDA Adcomm, I hope it passes. A lot of people really need alternatives. Maybe the FDA will screw up and actually do something right...hope springs eternal....

This is a loosely controlled opiate delivery device with an inadequate REMS. It won't be approved regardless the 2nd panel vote, which BTW was LESS than unanimous than the 1st panel vote a couple of years ago. The stock price today is lower than it was prior to the RS. As yourselves why, and before you cry the childish "manipulation" whine, remember this company's been in business for decades and has done nothing but lose tens of millions of investor money all during that time. This device is not practical and wouldn't be adopted even if it were approved. The timing for this from a commercialization standpoint, albeit a disappointing results one, would have been five years ago.

Gee quest, I'm all for blind optimism but you are the grand guru of positive thinking where this company is concerned. As always, I respect your enthusiasm but greatly disagree with you manipulation theory. Too much evidence says otherwise.

Of course he can. I know you've done the DD. Last time (Fanapt) he managed to take the company down to .03 and the edge of bankruptcy after they'd thoroughly looted all assets first of course, IMO. This company has been around a couple of decades but has always been marginally shady at best. For the record, they're not incompetent at all. Quite the contrary in fact. They are likely among the most successful failures you'll ever encounter. The company's investors have financed that success, IMO. This is a gambler's stock. Of course, you know that, don't you "heat?"

I'm still here because I've invested more than 5 years of my life, minutes to hours daily, following Titan. I care because there are scoundrels here, some of whom, LIKE YOU, having joined Yahoo Message board TODAY, who hope to exploit potential and new investors by spreading lies under numerous false IDs. For any who read this post, please check the date that this poster smwilliams10 joined Yahoo, then check the date I registered this ID, one of two IDs I have always used here....ie Jodiesandy and Jodiesandy1. I have done extensive due diligence on this company (Titan) through the years and I even attended the first Adcomm, for whatever that was worth. I make no qualms about my opinions but at least they are grounded in facts. For better or worse, I don't believe Titan's Probuphine will be FDA approved but worse still, even if it is, it won't be commercially successful. No company will buy Titan as a company, in my opinion, but even if one did, the value to current investors will be minimal at best. All of this is just my opinion but if one wants to make money in Titan, I believe it possible but best accomplished by trading the swings that remain, albeit predictably few.....Meantime, GLTY smwilliams10. Hopefully your second day on Yahoo will be more believable......

The newest panel vote ratio is irrelevant to an approval. In fact, the last panel voted in even GREATER ratio for an approval and Titan got a CRL, and for some of the same reasons that it won't get approved again. The problem is their REMS and how it is wholly impacted by the scheduled dispensing restrictions established by FDA of drug buprenorphine. FDA would have to create an exception just for Probuphine, an action it WILL NOT take. Tit/Burn has maintained corporate silence on this issue ALL THROUGHOUT this time leading to this next decision, and for good reason. Their behavior on this point is no coincidence, or to be casually dismissed. Buy and hold for approval at your peril IMO....

    ProB for Pain?

Get ready to ride this to bankruptcy awaiting an off-label use. Meantime, Rubin's moving on as predicted. Titan's lucky if they can get Probuphine approved at all. Commercializing it's another thing altogether and the roll out, if one's even been planned (questionable}, is going to be ugly for investors (who now can now be bought for pennies as compared to dollars a couple of years ago). Frankly, I still think the REMS is unsatisfactory to pass the FDA. It's biggest issue is about storage and travels between dispensary and Dr.'s offices since bupe was re-scheduled and the FDA won't allow its storage in Dr.'s officies any more. Plus, there are a few other issues that have been quietly ignored (like the number of dispensing docs in ratio to the number of patients the FDA will allow each one, the training requisites, surgical classification for medicare, surgical procedural governance, etc.), all of which says to me they plan to argue these details before the panel again....a VERY BAD strategy, given the competition that wants this to go away(as before). I think the value is gone from this company and even a scheduled PDFUA date won't bring much of a swing except down in their price.

Like rats off a sinking ship, PR has Rubin's next job all lined up....hope those poor saps at the new company sell before he destroys them too.....

Predictable and sad.... So much potential. A hundred million plus dollars of investor money over twenty plus years, wholly wasted due to greed, avarice, malfeasance and ignorance. What's worse, the scores of addicts who could have been helped and whose needs went unmet. No chance now.....

Careful with this one....things are not as they appear. Having been a by-standing party to this company's drama daily since 2009, it's my considered and very informed opinion that this device will not be approved..... The much discussed REMS remains insufficient to satisfy the FDA, even if it passes a panel again, but there also are numerous holes in their data, the science itself is a bit shaky, plus it's a most inopportune and politically incorrect time to be requesting scheduling exceptions of one of the most misdirected and abused drugs in the treatment arena (buprenorphine....the main component of their Probuphine rods).

  • jodiesandy1 jodiesandy1 Dec 29, 2015 2:12 PM Flag

I know a GREAT deal more than you on the subject and I've documented thousands of posts here since 2009 to prove it. Say what you will but their REMS is insufficient, the reason the FDA has called a second AdComm.....but as a short, you know that don't you?

  • jodiesandy1 jodiesandy1 Dec 29, 2015 2:10 PM Flag

The REMS is insufficient, as before, which is the reason for the AdComm....and the forthcoming 2nd CRL.....

  • jodiesandy1 jodiesandy1 Dec 29, 2015 2:09 PM Flag

    no....no they won't
