Gamestop will be bankrupt in the long-term. The pathetic lies in their attempt to buy the sinking ship with more retail, which they entered into a very saturated market of
Gamestop is NOT a video game stock. They are a retail stock. Until you grasp this truth you will continue to lose money.
They lowered aND then beat. Lame move to try to make themselves look better than the dismal issues that are rising
Pumpers out of touch with reality. Maybe you can bring Blockbuster's stock back too.
I'm thinking the reason they lowball all the numbers is that barely beating their continued low projections is the only thing that takes people's minds off the death spiral before them. It's like being on the Titanic and saying "oh look at the beautiful moon or tonight, at least it's not cloudy". They are just a series of poor systems to disillusione investors. Offer a high dividend. But back the sliding stock. Those things trick investors but continue to hurt the company.
All metrics were moving in the right direction. The sales numbers deferral was an adjustment that hindered this quarters numbers, yet the company is apparently moving positively and future quarters will be stellar. With nearly every material increasing in value while they are pulling much higher amounts out, this is the set up for success. Sentiment: Strong Sell

I can't believe it. It's fine with me. My shares might get called away on Friday but congrats to the longs and the contract buyer who is holding mine.
It's sad how many people they probably do sucker in. I still get boiler room mail in my post office box wondering if anyone really still bites on that #$%$ but then think of the poor investor just looking to take a chance at what was written up as a sure thing. Makes me think of the beginning of Lucky Number Sleven.
Don't ever kick yourself for making a profit. That is smart investment to get out when it has made you money. I got out at $1.85 expecting a pullback that hasn't happened. We will both probably be back in it in time.
