Haven't been able to find anything related to Danielsen and his stake in the company. Logic tells me he has one, but the company has not made that information available for public consumption.
I looked through my brokerage account and couldn't find any insider purchases in the past five years from anyone other than Robinson. I will try to do some more digging later because I am intrigued by this as well.
The larger point I was trying to make is that he has accumulated about 25% of his total shares in less than a year.
He has purchased a total of 735,050 shares in 10.5 months.
If your hunch is correct and assuming Robinson continues to buy at his current rate, we could be looking at more than 18 months until he gets to 4 million shares.
I would be shocked if he didn't just purchase another set of early shares during trading today. Not monitoring the size of the trades right now but it is obvious that there were several larger purchases made in the several thousand range.
I had a feeling some of the trades talking place today were his: when I saw the 4089 trade, I thought that might be him!
suinibus, I read some of your posts dating back to April and May and you were claiming that important news was going to be released in June and that did come to fruition on June 22nd.
You do not have to answer if you do not want to: do you have an "in" at the company?
I just read that the average is down to four months (as of 2014) because the FDA has been trying to improve the timeframe from filing to approval/rejection. If you go to Artisan Funds website, they have a biotech article that explains this right on the front of the webpage. I posted it as well but not sure if you read it.
Just a thought: at current total shares outstanding, a PPS of $22.4 gives us a market cap of $1B. Logic tells me that if we get to this point in price movement, it's because significant news is announced and FDA approval is imminent or complete. With the potential revenue producer that this drug may become: don't you think you would be selling low at $25--$1.12B market cap. I know you didn't say you absolutely would sell at that price action but rather you would begin to think about your strategy moving forward.
Maybe I am dabbling in irrational exuberance???
