The victims recently are not just purely innocent. The MAIN mistake they make is not having a gun it is fighting with the police and having a gun. It's not the gun they carry, it's the fighting. If an authority says to cooperate and they just fight & resist it will pyss off the cop which shots the dude. Don't fight the cops, if they say to do something, then do it. Dumb ones choose to fight and struggle and then are shot. Not the police fault, it's the fault of the person struggling with the police.
At MIE my understanding is that the shareholder is not issued a K1 at yr. end. Instead we shareholders just report the dividends/distributions as they are reported to us. Repeat, we shareholders are receive no K-1's ourself. Does this sound correct?
Never had a position in the stock. Never gave a thought to checking for pockets. Have never checked in the past and everything had pockets. Buyer beware when buying UA garments.
Just bought my first UA product, a pair of walking shorts. Great material, BUT NO POCKETS. No doubt it cost more to have pockets, but I don't know of anyone that walks that does not carry things in their pockets, such as keys, sweat rag, or something else. UA has gone too far trying to save. Beware, no pockets in their walking shorts.
It's official-----in the Costco where we shop at, many cases were sold. Metrics were official-----they are mine, that's what counts. It was probably a low margin product, a heavy and large product , low sales price. By weight and size , little revenue/profit.
In Feb. Costco quit carrying diet ice tea which was a big seller. Was 9.75 for 35 bottles, and was great.
I think it was greed that caused this to happen. Now they offer an organic ice tea-----some concept, how can you produce "organic" ice tea, sounds like bs to me. Bring back the $9.75 cases of diet ice tea.
Eddie "live long and prosper", please drop that live long and prosper. Are you someone special to give us greatness. Please drop it---quit hotdogging. Other than that, when you look at the holdings of GAB it shows the cost and current value. It shows Gabelli is a long term true investor and picks value stocks that have a good future. Same way with GGT. I don't like his rights offerings. If you look into these they hurt the investors who cannot participate and don't sell their rights. The main person they help is Mario Gabelli and his parent organization. I have a lot of GAB and will hold for now. The gab between stock price and nav has narrowed.
There's still some people who think these are great investments and I agree most of the money they get is just their own money. Some people hard to understand and some childish.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
