Starting selling Xperia Z w/ Tmobile and Xperia tablelet Z in US are significant for SONY. IMHO, it means that SONY finally gets back to the most important phone market. This news will gradually be reflected in stock price.
Selling video games in China is a wild card. The medium to long term impact to revenue and profit will be evaluated over time. It is probably much more positive than current perceived. It is certainly a great news, in any means.
From Fobes (July 10 2013): "China Moves To Lift 13 Year Ban On Video Game Consoles"
"The South China Morning Post reports that the reversal of the ban could be imminent, and the move is supported by powerful figures like Premier Li Keqiang."
7.4 million increase of receivables at the end of the quarter.
That means this quarter will also be good.
From Yahoo: "The Company’s cash and short-term investments were $12.3 million as of March 31, 2010 compared with $18.9 million for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2009. The decrease was primarily the result of a $7.4 million increase in receivables due to orders received toward the end of the quarter. CSP’s cash position may vary significantly from quarter to quarter due to the high working capital requirements needed to fund large projects at both its Systems and its Services and Systems Integration segments."
EDAP claims to be "the global leader in therapeutic ultrasound". However, after so many years in Europe and many other countries, only 7 HIFU machines and 38 lithotripsy machines were sold in 2009 with a total revenue 34.8 million and a growth rate 7.9%. In any standard, it is not an outstanding position for "the global leader". Clearly the management has a lot of work to do and it's got to be fast before the competitors catch up.
Also, why did it take EDAP so long to start US approval process for HIFU? Could it be started many years ago?
If edap so undervalued, why mutual funds (especially European funds) are not interested at it? Over the years, probably many fund managers looked at it and decided to pass. Why?
This question was already asked by another user. Will SNMX get any revenue (other than the 20 m )from the future sale of S6973? Your reply is appreciated.
Going steadily higher with increasing volume each day. This small gem is probably recognized for its value. Water is probably the biggest deal in China or maybe the world.
Common testing items has been increased from 35 to 42. The more restrictive standard will be effective in October.
Great news for CLWT. Not only cities need to update their testing eqipment but also need more cleaning eqipment from CLWT.

It is not wireless, broadband, internet or not even energy. Competition in these areas is furious. Margins are very low.
Economy in China is booming, no, it is boiling. In the mean time, the natural resources (water, air and land) are proportionally deteriorating. It is not sustainable. Environment is not only the key for continuous growth of China, but the survival. If you have visited China, you will know what I mean.
CLWT is at the center stage, plain and simple. It is the ultimate China concept.
Last few years, China is more concentrated on the growth. Now, it starts both growth and the quality of lives. That is why CLWTs revenue and earning growth will accelerate from now on.
This company consistent grows its revenue and earning year over year, every year. The European tradition also lays a solid financial ground for this company, which means, you can trust their earnings and forecast. The competition in this area is much less than other places.
Nobody here knows what this stock will do tomorrow or next week. One thing is for sure, though, on a nice and warm morning, you get up and turn on CNBC. All you see is the ticker CLWT, deep and lovely green.
