There's been some heavy volume last week and today was a very solid move today on high volume (when the market is way down). Very good sign of strength. I think it's just a matter of time before this takes off. Agree re insider buying. Nice double bottom and arguably a cup with handle and flag pattern with bullish divergence.

I think everything is ripe for a buyout in next couple weeks, huge vol and squeeze. Short interest decreased 80%.
Remember:On June 11, Bloomberg Business published an article about Pacific Drilling "gaining notice as a takeover candidate".
Already, the company has attracted interest from larger rivals such as Ensco Plc (NYSE:ESV), Transocean Ltd. (NYSE:RIG) and Seadrill Ltd. (NYSE:SDRL) in the last 12 to 18 months, according to a person familiar with the matter. One of those approaches was made as recently as this year, the person said, asking not to be identified as the information is private.
Pacific Drilling, which is legally based in Luxembourg and operates out of Houston, isn't actively exploring a sale and the approaches so far have been rebuffed, according to the person.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

remember the below from last year, well the timing is about the same, we just had a squeeze and massive vol - I think a buyout will be occurring based on the chart in the next few weeks.
