Can't get into IV on my PC any longer. Just get msg saying "This Page can't be displayed". Even difficult from my iPhone.
Here are my buys and sells from earlier this week.
Sold ATW at $7.25 for a 16% gain. Bought on 9/20 at $6.25.
Sold PES at $3.60 for a 12.5% gain. Bought on 9/20 at $3.20.
I'll post on Yahoo occasionally since it's so difficult to post here any more. Stop by once in awhile. Adios friends!
For Yahoo, I just on my old link then click on topics and it comes up fine.
Still can't get into IV on my PC. I give up.
4WD, you able to get into Investor Village? I sure can't.
Sold ATW at $7.25 for a 16% gain. Bought on 9/20 for $6.25.
Also sold PES at $3.60 for a 12.5% gain. Bought on 9/20 for $3.20.
PSA tests are quite unreliable in that a high PSA doesn't necessarily mean cancer while a low PSA doesn't necessarily mean no cancer. My PSA has been going up for many years as I get older. Went from around 1 - 2 to 5 - 6. after two biopsies over the years which were both negative my Urologist said I'm good and no more biopsies.
Prostate cancer is a slow growing disease. At my age, if I got it now I'd probably die from natural causes before the cancer killed me.
Really good today on the few stocks I own (gold and lithium). Still 90% cash. Wrestled with buying some bear mkt ETFs like SDS and DOG but 1) I'm really wary about buying ETFs any more and 2) not convinced the market is ready to correct yet. I'll just sit back and wait until it corrects and then jump in. Tired of trying to jump in front of it only to find out it was only a ST "blip" and then off again to the races.
ID on IV is exactly the same as on Yahoo. I've been a member of IV since 2006 but haven't posted there for many years.
Yeas, it was Lefty that mentioned the medical issue. I've had problems with my prostate for many years but no cancer. Sorry to hear about your issues with the prostate. Hopefully the procedure you're going through will take care of it for you. I know many guys with prostate cancer. Some have taken other routes (radiation pellets, prostatectomy). They are all doing good.
I'd bail out of TVIX with a loss as compared to holding on. The decay is serious!
I still check the Yahoo boards every day. Don't post much on IV. Too many posts on stuff I'm just not interested in. Been doing my own research and you will not find UVXY and TVIX in any of that research. Mostly gold, oil, tech, industrials and other sectors I've invested in previously.
I'm a little over 90% cash now. Holding a few lithium plus I bought two gold stocks this past week (MUX and DRD). Guess I'll just hold and see where the markets go from here.
Nothing against IV but It's way to "busy" over there. So many distractions I don't know which posts to read and which not to read. Don't have time to read all of them. Many have nothing to do with a stock, a purchase, a sell or TA. I'd just as soon stay here if Yahoo continues to allow this MB to remain.
This won't last long. Yahoo will eliminate this old board once the new board is up and running and debugged.
I remembered my InvestorVillage ID and password. Imagine that. Been many years. And it worked. Used to post to the ARO forum there all the time in my previous life.
CEO Musk Tweets he "working on Top Secret Tesla Master Plan Part 2". Tesla up today 4.3% on the news. Lithium stocks on Canadian Exchange mostly up a little, US mostly down.
Milton, could happen I suppose. If UVXY/TVIX was known as an "early warning indicator", then that would suggest a storm is brewing on the horizon. Maybe the end is near. Maybe we're all gonna die!
To me, huge buybacks indicate a large cash position which, in turn, usually means they are doing very well and should report good earnings.
