Being short KMI after the latest asset sale is a really bad position to be in. The Novenber and December shorts from2015 were hoping for a bankruptcy filing for reorganization, but Rich Kinder cut the dividend and raised cash. IMHO, that prospect is very unlikely now as the stock price indicates.

That is correct. KMI is a Delaware corporation. Stockholders get an annual IRS Form 1099-DIV form and will claim capital gains and losses just like any other corporation.

aren't u repeating what I jus said 10 mil sales .11-.13 loss 12 mil sales .05-.08 loss dependent on commercial sales or navy sales that's what I said OMG"

Putting Expsmog in for $10M to $12M with a $0.05 to $0.13 loss.

Trading at $5.82 as I write, keeping me slightly below water, but far from my current $5.50 offer as we wait for news.

It is a problem. EFOI has no momentum to attract the GoGo boys, just the promise of future cash. The low is holding and we need to wait patiently for news. I can't imagine how bad news would have to be to drive the price below $5, but can think of a half dozen things that could drive it up to $8.

The market is currently ignoring EFOI. There is too much action else where. It is what makes the market.

Expsog, quotes Jimmy Tu out of context to get a low estimate, but then doesn't listen to the sales that have already been announced. Is a $1.5M increase over 1Q16 realistic? The LOW analyst estimate is $10.6M. "can U be the only one right versus what the" analyst predict?

EFOI lost ~$0.17/share in 1Q15 with only 45% government sales. Does that make sense to anyone?

Yahoo seems to disagree with your $0.21 loss estimate. Of their 6 analyst the average is (0.09) with a high of (0.05 and a low of (0.11).

Last year the consensus estimate was $(0.02) and it came in at POSITIVE $0.21. You remember that day, don't you? The close the day before was $9.38 and the close that day was $13.39.

Just how big a pop do you think the stock will get for just breaking even? 50%. How far away from $9.38 would you expect, given the $2.5M they have in the bank today versus $10M in debt?

Spiked down to $5.60 this morning.

Last year they released the 10K on August 5th. That's less than 4 weeks away.

Last year the analyst predicted a 2 cent loss for 2Q15. The company put up earnings of $0.21. Those same analyst are predicting a 9 cent loss for 2Q16.

    Just saying...

"Hush Money?" No hush money is paid up front. You don't let the person you are paying to be quiet hang around and pollute the rest of teh staff for 3 months while you look for a replacement.

You do over pay someone to work 3 months more when they want to leave because the job is too demanding.

BTW, if you check out Marsha's face book page you'll see she has a baby sitting on her lap.

One has to ask the question, "Which is more likely, Marsha taking "hush money" and risk a prison sentence or Marsha finding needing more time for more important things?"

We are remarkable close in our assessments. Let's review:

ST: "Yeah that news is called GOOD earning reports for several quarters. Nothing else will move this. It's called consistent profitability."

LFTB: I agree good earnings reports are called for, I disagree it will take "serveral quarters." I also disagree that "Nothing else will move this." There are lots of things that cold be announced that can move the stock 50% in a week. A big Navy order for example.

ST: "Big machines with the capacity to pump out bulbs, agreements with partners that MAY make 1 million a year, 10 year guarantees pumping warehouses full and call them sales, easy bake ovens that put out six LED's a minute will do nothing till there is money shown to be supportable."

LFTB: Again I agree in principle. Capacity doesn't mater unless there is a need. That said I see no evidence EFOI was "pumping warehouses full and call them sales." Their Navy partner misjudge the number of tube the Navy would buy and were caught with excess inventory. Jimmy Tu claimed that inventory would be reduced this quarter. We shall see if it is.

ST: "August will tell much about where this company is heading. Huge earnings, buys them time till the next ER. Huge earnings then, this is back at $29 or higher. Mediocre earnings especially in commercial, because the NAVY sales are old news, and this sinks like a rock.

LFTB: I agree August is very important. I do not agree HUGE earnings are required. I doubt EFOI goes to $29 anytime this year. But with a basis under $6, I am perfectly happy with $10, which I see as easily doable. Given the $2.50 cash in the treasury it would have to be far worse than "Mediocre earnings" for the price to "sink[s] like a rock."

ST: "Of course there is always those shelf shares that can be sold to build back up that HUGE nest egg in case the bleeding continues."

LFTB: A secondary offer at $6 is unlikely, iMHO. Jimmy Tu knows the $6 is below the market value of the company

The separation agreement confirms my opinion Marcia found the job was taking up to much of her life and wanted out. How , you say. If Jimmy Tu didn't want here to stay, why did he basically give her a year's salary to stay on for 4 more months? he could have accepted her resignation and saved the cash. and stock?
