113 pounds in 11 months almost 20% of her BMI gone And these bashers keep calling it a flop. If you are new here ignore them.
I am now down 84lbs(288 to 204), I have not used Metformin or a statin since the first week of August 2014. My A1c has been 5.5 since then. Tested twice. I have lost almost 30% of my body weight. This is a miracle drug for me. Oh well.
Update!! So I decided to try the Same shirt as when I started B! I needed a Few big alterations lol!! It's like a dress now. Current stats: I'm in the 140's!!!!! 5' 6' 147.4lbs 1/26/15 BMI 23.7 Start weight: 260lbs 3/07/14 BMI 43. Excellent responder! Almost 11 months about 113 lbs gone. Believe it works!!!
Belviq works and calling it a flop or a failure places the blame of its commercial failure on the drug not those marketing and selling the drug. Eisai is the flop and the failure so please quit blaming the drug.
A little over 7.5 months and I am officially down 100 pounds. For me Belviq has been a game changer. It has helped me with my sugar and coca cola addictions. It has given me back power. My starting weight was 416. Life was impossible, losing weight seemed impossible. 100 pounds later I can do so much! I am looking forward to continuing to lose weight and seeing all the new ways my body can move.
Well I went to get a new top... First time I have gone to get anything. Last year at this time I wore a size 24! Today I bought a size 16. I am one proud, sassy Lady! smile emoticon I LOVE you Belviq and I love ALL of you! Don't get discouraged... Just think if I had given up that first month I would still be in a size 24! Only one more size to go to be in what I always wore!
LOST 97 POUNDS ON BELVIQ in 7 months.
Hey your welcome to pull my pictures from Facebook and put them on your page...I began my weight loss journey the day after I had my 2nd child on July 23rd 2014....I was 302lbs depressed and unhealthy...after 6 months on Belviq my whole prospective on food has changed...its no longer about please it's about fuel...before Belviq I used food for happiness. Now my happiness comes from being active with my children. I am no longer sad or depressed and I actually like the mirror!
I was expecting a drop under 2 today, what shocked me was no follow through from yesterday this am... Not even a little, just straight down...
They have enough to keep the CVOT going and that is really all that matters right now. And we have at least 35,000 folks taking the drug that is a significant number. Many on Belviq Support Group have hit their goals and are still taking it but are only taking 1 a day to maintain control of their diets... When you read through all of the posts, many even after being on the drug for 9 months or longer can't seem to control their appetites around their trigger foods. Some are so afraid of gaining the weight back (one person gained 4 pounds after a week of being off Belviq) they are planning on staying on it for the rest of their lives. They say it is night and day being 70 80 and even 90 pounds lighter.
As of 5/13/2016 a total of 21.64 million shares were reported short and those are only the legal ones... I am sure that number was and is much bigger when you consider all of the other factors...
This new CEO will take some time to get the lay of the land and to formulate a plan going forward. I am sure he will not make any major changes in the pipeline for a couple quarters... One thing he might do is sell off a couple other drugs to raise capital while moving them forward in the pipeline. Arena does not have the capital to move forward all of the drugs they have discovered...
Give him time, he will start to drive the ship before the end of the third quarter.
And only 1 1/2 hours into trading, that is a very big change in the tide... Real buyers are coming in. But we need the volume to stay for a while, if it drys up that will give the bad boys the ability to bring price down and shake out new week buyers at these higher prices...
The FDA would not waste their time granting a Fast Track to a drug that was worthless and did not have a chance... That is why they don't hand them out every day.
Pain just completed Phase 1 and it will be what 12 months? 16 months before a Phase 2 is done? So that is a long ways out. Also Phase 2 for APD334 has been pushed out to half way through 2017 so we have a long way till we find out if they really are the Crown Jewels for Arena.... I am hopeful just as you are but no need or reason to pump today. We will slowly move up going into the end of the year driven by anticipation of the Phase 2 studies being completed end of year and the approval of Belviq XR, as well as hopefully our new CEO taking an aggressive stance towards our marketing partners misses and slow to market strategies...
I fear that was something we just witnessed.. A few days of strong upward movement and when the buying stopped we pulled back a little.
Many on here who waited and those just now finding their way to Gale don't have that option to buy so cheap. They are looking for lower entry points.. but watching for a break out as to not miss the boat. When a large number of investors start to chase the stock you get pops and runs that don't last very long...
