curbside grocery pickup, Walmart isn’t charging extra , ....managerial raises went into effect in September paid more than $201 million in second-quarter bonuses to hourly store staff as 99 percent of its stores met targets for cleanliness, faster checkout and better service.
I despise the liberal ideology. Their solutions and ideals appall me. The Donald has gamed us. He can't be trusted. Good grief, what to do ? I've decided to chance it with Hillary. Congress should be able to prevent the liberal agendas worse ideas from being adopted. I don't like it but
those who like in glass houses, really shouldn't throw rocks.
to the contrary, exactly what is being said is total energy producted over the life time of renewable energy facilities barely exceeds the energy required to create them. Google this, the information is available from reliable scientific sources.
The key problem is: the cost of manufacturing the components of the renewable power facilities is far too close to the total recoverable energy – the facilities never, or just barely, produce enough energy to balance the budget of what was consumed in their construction. This leads to a runaway cycle of constructing more and more renewable plants simply to produce the energy required to manufacture and maintain renewable energy plants – an obvious practical absurdity
Yes ! If fans and advertisers withdraw support, we will see some back peddling by the league. Liberals have some serious setbacks coming.
Walmart U.S. delivered positive comp sales for the eighth consecutive quarter, up 1.6%,..Year to date operating cash flow was $14.9 billion and free cash flow1 was $10.3 billion, both approximately $5.0 billion higher than last year ... our full year effective tax rate is expected to be at the low end of our previously stated range of 31.5% to 33.5%.
surely the milker and his odd views are not missed....also missing and not missed, are the union bashers with their nonsense agenda. Throw in the save a beetle crowd, gone and almost forgotten, this is a far better place.
who benefits from competition? Consumers. Lower prices, higher quality. That is what consumers want and that is what the winning competitor will deliver. So you nutcase Walmart hating liberals are against competition? Against wealth accumulated by delivering lower costs to consumers ? Nonsense, liberals are smug, spoiled, me too, shallow people.
true and not true...there have been and will be- violent event driven market declines, ever shorter in duration, however, it is also true that the stock market has always went up historically and will go ever higher in the future. A world in which this wasn't true would also be a world in which no amount of money, no matter how large, could provide prosperity or security. Why ? Think.
money will continue to pour into the market or be withdrawn based on events. In general. market players using vudu technicals and time tested past performance have lost control of the market, giving way to investors with longer term horizons. The in and out of the past, has been replaced by a steady boil with a slow but continues upward trajectory.
no illegal immigration, no benefits for illegal immigrants, no jihads permitted entry, trade barriers where production has been subsidized, encourage resource development, no to gays, trans and all other liberal embraced ideas. Fact is the liberal agenda, including the occupy movement and anti Walmart theme is supported by less than ten percent of voters.
posters of this miss name drivel are looney tunes or trash. Sorry, but the shoe fits.
My thoughts about this acquisition are, even a blind squirrel sometimes finds a nut and I think Walmart did just that. The motivation for Lore is strong, given Amazon's heavy handed methods in acquiring his Quidsi business. Lore has demonstrated ability to grow sales and execute on delivery. Bottom line, revenue growth that is likely to result in a substantially higher PE for Walmart stock.
Lore the brains behind Jet Com. is required to stick around and build up both Jet.com and Walmart.com. Lore ran a e-commerce business named Quidsi which he sold to Amazon in 2010. Lore then worked for Amazon for several years, before starting up Jet Com.
Jet com is second to Amazon in visits and has been signing up 350,000 new customers per month. Jet com. is not profitable. Sounds like Amazon. If and when Amazon gets sick from lack of profit, will this acquisition enable Walmart to sprint, bolt style ?
That, I think, is the hope.
Do you --support the killing of late term babies who have committed no crime, while screaming “barbaric” at states that give the death sentence to murderers.? Is that you ?
Do you - - are you pro Gays, Lesbians, Transgenereds, Bisexuals, and Swingers Is this you ?
There is more but do you really need more to know where you fit ?
this concept is now being tested. That is the difference this time around. It feels different because it is different. If either party or candidate breaks down and speaks common sense instead of slogans, voters will embrace that one. Sadly, neither candidate or their supporters realize their not speaking to the voters needs.
