  • Why would you do that when you really hate the company?
Well, if you must be prepared to buy many, many, pairs.

    •J.C. Penney's shares are up ~27 percent year-to-date.

•Investor and analyst sentiment towards the retailer has markedly improved.

•J.C. Penney could easily trade up to $10 again on strong Q2-16 comps.

Think about it!.... Running of the Bulls.

It's time to play "guess the JCP Poster"

    by markitvalue Jul 10, 2016 7:10 PM

    " I am not a rat!".

No guesses?..This IS the JCP Chat Board, is it not?
Seems 4 people? ahem, didn't like Marki's sense of humor, and way of proving a point.
Ohh well, just trying to keep it interesting while we wait for Ellison to deliver Shareholder Value.

Someone here said they only get 7 months or so from Sketchers bought from JCP.
This guy is here 24/7 every day, trying to support his short position, IMO..
I have an image of this guy no difference from those that run from the bulls, in other countries..
I believe it's called "Running Of The Bulls". These people run thru the streets ahead of at least 6 bulls hoping they won't be run over by them.
You do that 24/7 and you would wear out Sketchers bought anywhere, but you see my point?

Now that's not to be confused with 'running of the baboons', but that's another story!

  • markitvalue markitvalue Jul 11, 2016 11:40 AM Flag

Funny how there are some?, that keep pointing the alias finger non-stop, trying to discredit others that are positive about JCP.... Whatever.
So reversing the dialogue, you could listen to mpic_03 who sold GM for $29.75 to short JCP today.
    Wuz this a good idea?

    "how it pans out"

    Double, double toil and trouble;
    Fire burn and caldron bubble.
    Fillet of a fenny snake,
    In the caldron boil and bake;

Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
    Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
    Lizard's leg and howlet's wing,

For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
    Double, double toil and trouble;
    Fire burn and caldron bubble.

"Cool it with a baboon's blood", (That would belong to Lancer2K
Then the charm is firm and good.

Speakin of JCP, also seems 'firm and good'. And you're wrong again, it's past an hour of trading..

    Or under $8.77
    Or under $8.66

19 Greenies?.... Not on his best day!

Pay no attention to these shorts, mayconut. There's many aliases in the shorts arsenal.
You can thank 'Lanci' for bringing it out in the open.

  • markitvalue markitvalue Jul 9, 2016 2:18 PM Flag

    "small, insignificant and meaningless"

But lancer2k makes it a point to follow "Marki', so what does that say about Lanci?...
The "Gotcha", or attempt to "Gotcha", is on his foot, or is it feet?
And his PDS, 'premature disaster syndrome' is not getting any better, JCP continues to march forward.
PDS could come from his pet monkey, they are known to cause disease.

"JCP...will do well"...(100% right on the money)!

"No, Goldman Sachs won't allow it"! Who said that?
It's The Giant Squid gonna suck the life blood outta JCP, (short theme).

That thought is a theme we've heard for years now...The latest refi was given to JPM
who arranged their 2.25 Billion Dollar Refi....Anyone with a lick of sense can see
"No Goldman Sachs won't allow it", exists only in the mind of a very delusional poster.

Stuck in the mid eights, and waiting for Mr. Ellison to deliver.
My 2-3 year JCP CD is right on schedule, I call it a callable CD, between $15.00 - $25.00.

Where is that huge rebound in JCP's PPS??

Where is that huge rebound in JCP's PPS??

    Ding!...Another week down the drain.
No Sixy Wixy, for the doubters? Try as they may, JCP hangs in there.

"Not a terribly good trading week for longs"
Nor is there the anything to celebrate for the shorts. Enough cash to hire 450 employees overseas in an attempt to expand they're E-Commerce business, expansion should include a total of 1000 new employees.
All the news that shorty doesn't want to hear.

There's always next week! Expect Monday early, the Little people will start the day off with their booooooring
JCP won't make it routine, too much debt, no one shops there...sickening isn't it?

The Longs here know when JCP announces it has returned to profitability the shorts will abandom ship like rats on a sinking ship!
    August should be interesting.BBB.

    "Typical Marki"

"Marki" thinks...Markit thinks you are telling everyone here who else lancer2k posts under...The stiff who lost his "T"....
    Honestly speaking.

    "furry little primate"
I rest my case...BTW delete the comma after 'Of, course, you will'
It's 'Of course, you will'.... No comma after Of
You don't write well do you, anyone ever tell you that? But you do write too often

    "Be brave"

You have got to be kidding. Advise from lancer?...Lancer knows about monkey names, zero about JCP chances to succeed.
Do you realize for 1 year he has accumulated 1446 posts 27.8 per week and 90% of those posts were about monkey names. And that's without all the other ID'S he uses.
Sir Walter has his number fer sure, fer sure!.

    " Is JCP a short at $8.33?" -by markitvalue • Nov 25, 2015 9:32 AM

Yes lets review, all the Little People that said yes, are fighting a losing battle. It gets worse for them going forward..

  • markitvalue markitvalue Jul 7, 2016 3:51 PM Flag

" joking around on this board"

Don't forget about those Vampire Squid (A Shorts Dream), sucking the cement out of all those JCP malls across the USA, around 3 years ago.

Those Squid will topple even the new JCP Brooklyn Store we were led to believe, doing a robust business I'm told.
Story started by Crazy Guggenheim, bares a striking resemblance to "You Know Who"!

    19 greenies?

Bunch of kids using all those aliases, playing the green thumb game!
'You know Who' has nothing better to do with his time!

  • markitvalue markitvalue Jul 7, 2016 9:52 AM Flag

"I've read every one of his posts"

Ahhh missing the 'T'...Sounds like he has me mixed up with....HIM!!. "his life(or lack thereof)"? .
But he'll keep on truckin, and readin. In the end whilst he looks for HIS 'gotcha moment'...I will have the prize, and he on the other hand, will lose much more than his "T"!
Since he's here along with his zany cast of characters, Id's, every day 24/7, I suspect he has lost much, much, more than his "T'.

    Stay Long JCP...BBB.

Our JCP baggies better come up with new pumps

    by maffholand Jul 5, 2016 2:47 PM
markitvalue markitvalue Jul 5, 2016 6:05 PM Flag

Yes, our Dear Short Friends should also come up with new projections of when JCP will fail...
Must be hard for them to address the new 1000 hires in India, 450 by the end of 2016.
But they were the ones that said JCP was behind in E-Commerce, so that's being addressed, heh?.

And in the past we told you, you hard headed shorts, that JCP was stealing business from Macy's, amongst others. What do we have now?...Terry Lundgren, Macy's CEO is resigning, very sad, but that's the way the retail cookie crumbles.

BBB....ORrrrr are ya sure JCP is a short @8.33?
