[Patents are VALUABLE by calrenwick • Aug 17, 2011 9:55 AM (R/Sx2 Adj Close $19.68)
"Motorola's high $12.5 billion purchase price is based largely on Google's valuation of their patents. Guess what - SCON has an evergrowing cadre of patents. But they'll be licensing their production, unless a Google or GE wants to pay a few billion!"]

Hey boilerroom scamster calrenwick, those SCON "VALUABLE" "evergrowing cadre of patents" has shown a SP loss of 99% since this pump!!!

Per the July 23, 2013 PR, "These initial shipments are being used for qualification testing in the various customers' product designs for devices such as superconducting fault current limiters and HTS high field magnets used in multiple applications."

Almost THREE YEARS later, not one commercial qualification. STI finally admitted wire delaminates and been looking for a fix for about 6-months, in the meantime, no longer shipping wire for qualification testing.

STI has at best $3m in the bank, so look for a nice chapter 7 filing by Christmas.

It's starting to sink in that STI didn't submit a "final proposal", due to the fact STI had nothing to propose, but a failed HTS wire manufacturing process.

Looks like this upcoming 1:15 reverse split will be followed by another reverse split in an attempt to avoid delisting by October.

On the bright side, all those boilerroom scamsters that bought the unregistered warrants hoping to lie and shill the SP up to the exercise price will have wasted their time & money. On the negative side, anyone who believed their shills and lies will be the real bagholders.

  • mask_ipx_spx mask_ipx_spx Jun 10, 2016 11:51 PM Flag

As STI can't produce anything of value with these patents, their value is ZERO.

Ouch, forgot those 6,117,383 adjustable warrants that have been adjusted down to $0.35 that don't expire till August 9, 2018.

"Under the Supreme Court’s decision in TSC v. Northway, an item of information is considered “material” if there is a substantial likelihood that a reasonable investor would consider it important to an investment decision, or if it would alter the “total mix” of available information about the company."
From the Harvard School of Law site, search "sec-disclosure-and-corporate-governance-financial-reporting-challenges-for-2011/"

As usual, the boilerroom scamster captechinvestors is lying again, but that's what boilerroom scamsters do.

The lowest price unexpired warrants are $0.40 and there are 20,327,567 of them. The $0.35 warrants expired April 14, 2016. See page 11 of the most recent 10-Q.

Per the last EC, JQ: "After we complete our final proposal, STI will provide more information about the proposal and our partner." Source: SA EC transcripts 2016Q1

This is a Material Event that must be reported. STI has not reported, thus it hasn't happened. The deadline for submitting this "final proposal" was June 7th.

The boilerroom scamsters have been in a scrolling the board frenzy to draw attention to their wash and match trades hoping to pump the SP up so that their unregistered warrants can be exercised and unloaded prior to the upcoming 1:15 Reverse Split.

  • mask_ipx_spx mask_ipx_spx Jun 10, 2016 2:01 AM Flag

STI values these patents at $969,000 per last Q, the only thing these patents "DOMINATE" is worthlessness.

From STI's Feb 18, 2010 PR: "Our joint proposal with GE Global Research and Los Alamos National Laboratory for the development of a commercially viable production process for 2G HTS wire was one of 300 finalists out of approximately 3,700 initial submissions."

The 2009 joint proposal by GE Global Research, Los Alamos National Laboratory and STI went nowhere. Nothing has changed, seven years later, STI still can't produce "commercially viable" HTS wire.

In one post, calrenwick tells THREE WHOOPING LIES:
calrenwick • Sep 17, 2015 11:50 AM, "... Fact: SCON's RCE machine does, indeed, work." Reality, RCE produces wire that delaminates like a retreaded tire.

calrenwick • Sep 17, 2015 11:50 AM, "Fact: SCON is past the testing stage with SFCL OEM(s). Negotiating purchase order." Reality, ALL SFCL OEM(s) repeatedly fail STI's wire.

calrenwick • Sep 17, 2015 11:50 AM, "Fact: SCON is either at or has completed the testing with HTS cable OEM" Reality, cable OEM repeatedly fails STI's wire.

Publish today by University of Geneva:
"To generate ever-higher magnetic fields, physicists at the University of Geneva (UNIGE) and an R&D team of Bruker BioSpin in Fällanden (ZH), both in Switzerland, started a collaboration in 2012, which was partially funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). Together, they successfully developed and tested the first superconducting coil able to reach a magnetic field of 25 Tesla."

"The superconductor chosen to achieve such a field is a copper-oxide-based ceramic, YBCO. A one-micrometer thick layer of superconductor covers a thin steel tape which is then wound onto a cylindrical support to obtain the coil. 140 meters of 3 mm wide tape were necessary to produce the superconducting insert coil."

As usual, STI is not even in the running. STI can't get its wire to work even in a prototype. The Bruker superconducting coil is over twice the Tesla's that STI 12 Tesla claim achieved in a bench test.

STI doesn't have a chance to be in the finals, wire delaminates and still can't solve the stabilization layer problem.

Think this is why Dr. Hammond departed, even though he was a founding member of STI.

I believe Dr. Hammond realized RCE-CDR wouldn't work and proposed RCE-LATS, but idiot Quriam failed to heed his top scientist, thus the mess STI is in.

STI still not producing a product, they do produce dilutions followed by reverse splits.

STI always has openings, but doesn't hire because they have no revenue because they have no product.

Poor paid idiot shill tries so hard to blow this limp stock up, shows an aptitude for employment in an industry that needs those skill sets.

It's fortunate for captechinvestors that the US has the aging baby boomers which a certain percentage may find value in captechinvestors aptitude, once SCON files for Chapter 7.

The only thing fixed is paid shill sconroller's fixation on conning investors. STI died a long time ago. Anyone who bought sconroller's pump at $34.80 knows their money died, but more than TEN YEARS later, sconroller is still pumping this POS.

[Do or Die for STI by sconroller • May 22, 2006 6:27 PM (R/Sx2 Adj Close $34.80)
"It's been just a few short weeks since Quiram shared his "excitement" about the business and STI's prospects. He made assurances prior to the AeA Microcap conference they weren't in the market for more investment capital. I have no reason not to take him at his word.

Given past class-action suits, I'm sure they're very reluctant to provide any positive forward guidance other than general optimism. The downside - should things go sideways - is far greater than any short-term upside in SP.

The SP will ultimately be driven by earnings, which is an absolute must this year. There's no more rainbow to hold investor interest. It's now do or die for STI."]
