Sorry. I don't agree. I placed a limit order buy this morning for $81.05. I hope it gets filled.
Now that Verizon is buying Yahoo, they may enhance Yahoo Finance to build a stronger presence? I would be willing to pay a subscription fee to have access to better trackers, news access, message boards and mo e analytics.
Didn't Barron's say GILD had around $10B on hand for an acquisition? They would only need to raise in the range of $3 to $7B to take this thing down. Sanofi is trying to nickel and dime the board with offers when a bold $13-$15B bid takes this down.
Didn't you hear? Riceen fell asleep while typing the first draft of his letter and fell back, smashing his skull, killing him instantly. God rest his sole. My condolences to you as well as his family. Go MDVN.
Closing high on May 9: $62.63; on July 7: $62.63; and Friday: $62.63. The smart money is loading up in preparation for competing buyout offers. Only time will tell.
Speaking of proxies. I finally mailed mine in today in support of management. Not sure it was necessary based on the "truce" agreed to be SFY. But better safe than sorry.
Good advice in my opinion. I was traveling yesterday afternoon and it was up beforehand. Then I checked late day and saw VRX tanked later in the trading day. No reason other than market forces doing battle. Investing turns out to be a war after all. Bear raids, shorts, options, etc is all about trying to take someone else's money.
I for one am glad it did. I had not heard of MDVN until it dropped below $40. Opportunity knocked.
Sorry but I must call you an idiot. What makes today's action any different than the other action on March 1, 7, 22, April 6, June 2, etc.? There weren't any buyouts after those spikes. I believe it is positive especially after the dilution but ICPT has room to run in my opinion. Buyout or not.
I'm very skeptical of your claim. However, I think the $140 - $150 range is a solid base range that anyone can invest in. Downside is manageable and the upside is a 2, 3, 4. or even more bagger. Only time will tell.
I haven't been paying that close attention to the analysts. But, I've seen analysts calls over the years that seemed completely out of left field. They made no sense. You can only conclude they were made to cause people to either buy or not buy in this case. But no doubt the big money was always on the right side of those calls. Only us little fish fall for it.
Maybe one less mouth on the teet of CYCC. Now if we could only dislodge that Rombo tick. Now that is funny! I don't care who you are.
So you quote Santa Anna?
Although he was clearly a brilliant political opportunist, Santa Anna was ultimately loyal only to himself and he had an insatiable lust for power. While Santa Anna played an important role in achieving Mexican independence, his subsequent governments were also at least partially responsible for the loss of the Southwest to the United States. He died in poverty and squalor in Mexico City at the age of 82, no doubt still dreaming of a return to power.
that "reports" and analysts have nothing good to say about VRX? But, the smart money is jumping on board and going to make a killing in my opinion. So there are sooooo many nefarious voices saying stay away, yet the rich seem to be believing. Hmmm!
