jridley, any doubt that harbourmaster and moe are the same person? Here is moe posting on Barclays (BCS) with the Morgan Stanley stuff: Well Done Working Class Brits - You Just Killed Yourselves Financially by moe3355 •3 hours ago
Knowingly was because I am pretty sure I had pointed out the ID stuff to you before. Maybe you didn't read it, maybe you didn't remember. That happens.
But now you know. Most all the posts flooding the board are a single person using multiple aliases. There are only a handful of legit posters at this point, and they don't start thread after thread after thread.
Ridiculous. NRF shareholders just overwhelmingly voted for mgmt compensation and the incentive plan and you expect them to vote against the merger?
Even more ridiculous is that you knowingly respond seriously to a person who uses multiple ID posts to spam the board and imitate others. Hint: check the date he created his ID, also maverick757200 and maverick7570200. Look at the date my account was created. BTW,the fake maverick is also moe (who himself mimicked another moe), regardedsolutions, harbourmaster and more IDs -actually yahoo aliases.
harbour can be thousands by himself. He can post under his aliases moe, the three fake mavericks, regardedsolutions, bigkahuna, circle_, and more. He knows how to make yahoo aliases so it looks like a cast of thousands in agreement.
Toot-toot was a nice touch, though, harbourmaster.
No thoughts, but a question: has any US stockholder received the PrairieSky distribution in tradeable form? Mine has been added to my account but is not saleable at present.
moe, should shareholders take advice from you - a person who posts under multiple yahoo aliases (harbourmaster, regardedsolutions, three fake maverick ids and others)? A person who has spammed the board repeatedly? A person whose is either just a nut case, or one who is paid by somebody to use yahoo message boards to get some particular result (maybe by investor village to make the Yahoo message boards worthless?).
Of course, maybe your gambit is to spread hate, become hated and cause people to vote FOR mgmt. Nah, that sounds above your pay grade.
Maybe guppie figured that if a poster using multiple IDs goes to all the trouble to repeatedly post about how bad the merger is, there must be an ulterior motive. So vote for the merger instead.
After all, it is not like the same poster has been on the NRF board for long. And it is not like the same poster has not done similar things with other stocks. Who knows, maybe it is Land and Buildings behind the posting?
Besides, it is only money, and almost never does a vote matter.
nah, you don't rile me up. Using your moe ID you posted maybe 15 times in the last couple days and I posted 2 or 3? I would hardly call that stalking, compared to what you did to me with your three fake maverick IDs. (Oh, yes, you will say you are not fake maverick. You are, they are simply aliases under a common yahoo ID).
If I have something to say about NRF I might post it, but I don't feel compelled to post 10 times a day saying nothing, like you and your aliases.
Asking fake maverick, an ID created a few weeks ago to discredit mine, a serious question? Asking a person who has three fake maverick IDs and also posts as Moe, regardedsolutionsfanclub and under other IDs? (Yes, moe, you are the fake maverick. Maybe before that you were the fake moe on the Ford board.)
Not too discerning for having been involved in the institutional investment world?
Repenting for harbourmaster and moe? Must be hard to keep up with who you are.
Nobody has a problem with an opinionated poster so long as they don't use a copycat ID, multiple IDs and don't spam the forum. You are three for three on that, but tomorrow is another day.
Human nature is that when people get in a position where they believe they can steal real money from others without getting caught, they will. I have seen it time and again, even from those who are well respected, held in high regard, pillars of their church and community.
That said, I generally agree with you that outside those circumstances, most are pretty professional.
Voting no on the merger returns everybody to being subject to the excess compensation that will continue to drain NRF. Even if the board via proxy gets an overwhelming no vote, a few independents will be put on the board but many will remain. Those independents will be professional, credentialed, will be well advised legally and will make solid efforts - but will they be able to accomplish anything?
It's clear this merger is from weakness. Mgmt forgoes bonuses and salaries and gives up some other comp, gets all paid in stock which is locked up for two years - all signs that NRF/NSAM were desperate. People post about lawsuits, turning over the NSAM contact, etc - anybody can sue, but it takes deep pockets to successfully sue. Who is putting up millions in legal fees here?
Harbourmaster6969 is probably an alias of yours. New ID, posts on CPLP and NRF as you do.
I don't read detail of those who use multiple IDs. Whether you are right or wrong, you have no credibility and are merely trying to influence shareholders. Note that the group posts were uniformly negative until accused, them the group has posted some positive- bidding war, Chinese buyer, forming a bottom, etc. all to cover manipulative tracks would be my guess.
This is rich - a poster using multiple IDs is accusing someone else of fraud. Moe, regarded solutions, bigkahuna, and circle all appear to be the same person. Accused, he#$%$ created three fake maverick IDs.
Lunco, that is the fake maverick. He is the same person as moe, bigkahuna and others (posting under multiple id's) and got mad at me for exposing him so used the clever tactic of making a username similar to mine.
