#2 and #3 reasons are the sole reason why fslr went to $300 in 2009. Once they convince investors to believe in them again, we may see $300 again. A few good quarters still cast doubts; they need to show profit margins consecutively to rally to $300.
you are saying we can not profit after a good news? If I was to buy shares tomorrow at 60, I can't profit? So, alot of companies like aapl, tesla, nflx that rallied before a good earnings can not rally after the earnings is posted? That's it? Once the cat is out of the bag, no more climb? What about those huge institutions that wait around and look for a safe and solid entry point? They want to see numbers first, talk is cheap.
Example, tsla, I was about to load up on 50 contracts at price of a price of 50/sh, after it had rallied from 30's to 50 right before they posted their first positive income. But I chickened out because it had already rallied 30%. The price surged to 70 the next day, I thought that is too expensive....no way it could climb more......now it approaches 200.
This stock is heavily supported by banks, GS, MS, and BofA, in particular. There are about 12 million shares shorted. With raised EPS for 2014 and blowout Q3, the banks will pressure the shorts to cover. We may get an epic massive short squeeze tomorrow. Now, to everyone's eyes FSLR carries little or no risk, the banks will pounce a massive rally tomorrow.
I don't think anyone is gonna sell this lower than $56 which was the recent peak, not with the Q3 that they posted. AH does not truely depict how the stock will run in real trading, especially heavily shorted stocks. AH is a friendly toss among friends to save each other, so they don't suffer too much in the real world.
No war! Our military is spread thin already. Send CIA into Syria and take out the group responsible for gas used-- much less costly and sends the same message ( you break UN rules, u will get killed)
Everyone knows their bookings is low; only Morons state the obvious. They just hired a kishkill to represent south America and Ahmed nada to rep middle east, Obama are speculatives in future mega contracts.
Did these guys read the Q2 conference? 1.3 GW of contract announcement in fall 2013. Obama and Saudi (although Saudi is a couple countries away from Syria , war may dent contracts)
you clearly show many levels of deficiencies. Neither the articl nor I was making any claim that fslr was installing panels for Volvo, I said "Forbes is hinting that fslr MAYBE installing panels for Volvo". Second, why are you looking and concentrating on the details of the picture of solar panels in the Forbes article? It's an article, and they could post panels from any company just to make the point of solar run cars. And they never mentioned that was was the company involed with the installation. Third, is the middle school education that you never passed, "its not an fslr product". What kind of grammar is this? Its show possession, i.e, DumbMonBoy and its balls. It's means it is; I think that is what you wanted to say. "an solar", it should have been a solr, an should be used infront of a word that begins with a vowel.
I am shocked that you learned how to read and write, more surprisingly you think you can give others stock advice?
is he a Mon or a Boy? Either way he is DumbMonBoy, Jamaican Pothead.
he said that fslr panels can't be foldable because it's not flexible!!!! Bahahhaha. Is this guy dumb or what? Has he ever seen doors with hinges? Therefore, he claimed that Volvo can't contract fslr for their foldable solar panels on cars!!! LMAORoF.
foldable, it means that sheets can be hinged together so they can fold and unfold. Dumbmonboy!!!!
probably explains the high volume of calls bought toward the end of last week. They will most likely announce Saudi contracts. I can't wait !!!!
is Forbes trying to hint us that fslr will be installing portable foldable solar panels on Volvo's future hybrids?
They lowered their guidance for q2 weeks before secondary offering. Most shorts saw that as a weakness and did not cover, only 2 million shares did. The question is how was fslr able to convince the banks to buy at 46 after they lowered their Q2 guidance? It's not earnings that is gonna move this stock, it's the contracts and plans of the future.
Every country is seeking for energy independence, solar is the only sound alternative. Even the Arabs know that they have to save some oil in the future for competitive advantage. The same reason why the US does not want to drill its own lands, save for rainy days down the road.
Forward pe of 13. Credit Suisse wants to buy before earning, dirty crooks. Agree all the other solars r overpriced. At 33 I would put my entire portfolio.
if you made more sense, you would be a good lawyer because you are dirty scoundrel who lies constantly to fit your statement. First it was a manufacturing facility, then it wasn't but a shell, then now it was gonna be a manufacturing facility but they just left it as a shell. If it is just a shell, perhaps they are not completing it til have have all the plans figured our for the higher efficiency modules. Why build lower efficiency and tear it down later for higher efficiency. Even better. That's why they couldn't take new orders for 2013, their existing manufacturing facilties can only accommodate so many panels.
lol, now it is just an EMPTY shell facility???? I thought you said it was a manufacturing facility that they didn't utilize. Well if it is an empty shell facility where they just use it to storage, what does it matter if they open or close it down??? Better news if they leave it closed, because that implies they don't have any panels left in their inventory.
so they stopped taking new orders because they were understaffed and didn't want to open up the facility that was unused. They would prefer to let it sit and collect dust? Hmmmmm......that doesn't make any sense bro.
