    The last time you "predicted" such lows the Sony news came out and it shot up to 4 dollars.

    When will Motley Fool start sniffing around?

    Motley Fools top man David Gardner uses 5 criteria to help identify a winning growth stock;

    1. Top Dog and First Mover in an Important, Emerging Industry
    {MVIS is a leader in the patent field for LBS and VRD, certainly the industry is emerging now at a rate not seen before}

    2. Sustainable Advantage Gained Through Business Momentum, Patent Protection, Visionary Leadership, or Inept Competitors
    {Patent protection is wide and deep, good momentum over the last 2 or 3 years with Celluon, Sony, and Sharp, better tech than our competitors too}

    3. Strong Past Price Appreciation
    {a new longer term upward trend since the Sony announcement in 2014, still way lower than i'd like to be obviously but still up from the depths of doom a few years ago}

    4. Good Management and Smart Backing
    {Sony is smart backing, the "good management" will certainly be a divisive topic!}

    5. Strong Consumer Appeal
    {tech magazines and end users like the pico-projectors, hopefully sales numbers will support this}

    Sentiment: Buy

  • Slightly off topic, but Rony Abovitz of Magic Leap is scheduled to talk at the wired business conference on Thursday June 16th (will be streamed live on starting at 9AM ET).
    Given microvision's history in the 'Virtual Retinal Display' domain, i thought it might be relevant.
    I'm not expecting any tech secrets to be revealed but just some hint of when this technology will be unleashed would be great.

    Sentiment: Buy

    Qualper, spreading the word...

    Thanks for the link. Nice to see the phone in action. China is a country where word of mouth has more potency than in western countries. Historic distrust of government and corrupt authorites meant that what your friend recommended was of the upmost importance. So hopefully users will flaunt their wares on social media and its popularity will spread. If some influential blogger buys the qualper phone then that would be even better. A hit in Asia truely is a big hit. Only last week i saw about 20 people line up outside a #$%$ little snack shop in Seoul...probably because some blogger recommended it. I see that kind of thing all the time here. If i saw a big line of people lining up outside a restaurant i'd go elsewhere. Not asians though. They think..."that must be a good restaurant." I don't like to speak too generally about my host country, but i've found asian folk to be very group oriented and if the group decides such and such a product is the hot item then EVERYONE wants one. It's a long shot but lets hope the Qualper is a big hit. ???!

    Sentiment: Buy

  • "Evan Blass has shared an image of a trio of MotoMods to his Twitter page…"

    "It’s hard to tell what the third MotoMod in the image is for, but we know from last week’s report that there is one coming that adds stereo speakers and another coming that includes a pico projector, so it’s presumably one of those."

    Does that look like a projector to you? I don't know. I hope so :)
