Fidelity is starting a new Robo advisor program probably because they were losing business to Vanguard . On the surface the plans are very different. Fidelity has a lower cost, lower minimum investment but only open to new money and not transfers from other accounts. I think I would like to take market returns over time on a portion of my account and compare the results to my trading results. Waiting for a correction to start a robo plan with Vanguard. Most stock traders lose money but there Ego will not allow them to admit it, some want admit it to themselves. My results the last two years have been below market returns.
Inhirst, too busy to trade lately only buying long term holds and No BDC/REIT at the moment. But going opposite from me is a proven winner:)
I for one have given JimCooper some grief and called him a loon. I now think he is the real McCooper and legitimate but might still have a touch of looney around the edges.:) but perhaps no more than many of the rest of us. The General always rails on anyone who besmirched his most perfect investment ,that is the POS PSEC:)
Slick you love the BS confrontation and start one if there not one already going on. But I like your trades and your careful risk avoiding technique.
Hello Inhirst, I joined the IV board along with other regulars buts it' getting little use at the moment. Too busy with real estate at the moment to give trading much attention. I did buy back 25% of XLE This morning I sold last week or so.
J, I think you might be letting Slick get under your skin. If you spend energy to get back instead of tending to business, it will cost you.
There are some that feel being the godhead moderator of a MB is important there lives, which is sad. They have something to offer but it needs to be put in prospective.
Usually the market does not move in a linear fashion. I prefer to follow the market rather than guess where it's going next. IMO the current Fed leadership will want smooth sailing as long as we have a Dim President. Janet would probably be ordered by her handlers to raise rates and create shock with a Trump win.
There are at least 3 on the MB with anger ego issues. If I can put together 2 good trades I might develope some anger ego issues and join in:)
Banks are under pressure with low interest rates and heavy regulation, they make a buck where they can with fees . I moved to Truliant Federal Credit Union about 20 years ago and have the best of all the possibilities. The fees are low, if you over draw your checking they look around and take some from savings to cover send send you a email with no overdraft charges. If you have a problem any TFCU employee can correct it in a matter of seconds,at a big bank no one has authority to fix anything,it's multiple people and takes days and weeks.
Bernie Sanders is a Communist who sold out to Hillaryies crookedness. He got something in return. His stupid supporters got the shaft. Bernie was commenting on Trump comment on the Russian hackers, he went to Russia to get married because he wanted to be married in a.Communist country. I bet he has more kremlin connections than Trump or Hillary put together.
