TTU - I second that, or third that, after Hotmodel. Sad, funny, and certainly pathetic. I imagine a pimply teenager, shoplifting for Taylor Swift CD"s and One Direction on the weekends, when the markets are closed. Hope his Saldon ID sold half his stake, those 5 shares I recommended, to pay his annual dues to the Taylor Swift fan club, when he's not searching for cigarette butts in trash cans to smoke, and half-eaten Mickey D fries, whichich he fights for against the local pigeons.
Tottie, I've heard rumours he and his imaginary ID friends searched all of Podunk, in order to buy up all the Twinkies left in stock before they disappeared. Gobbles them up for meals along with cans of sardines he's also stockpiled in Mom's basement. Only time he isn't creating ID's and posting fake buys is when Dad shuts the power to the wi-fi off, which after crying his eyes out, he files a complaint with Yahoo about Dad, too dumb to realize he'll be "sensored" himself soon for exceeding Yahoo internal controls on amount of false flags they will tolerate.
OT: Tigers and Twins in an interesting battle tonight. Just listening on the radio ... Upton at it again ... loving this miracle. Weather nice in the Twin Cities? Beautiful in the Motor City the last couple of days.
You've made a grievous error in your supposition: Yahoo will never pay most of the money from gains realized to shareholders. Watch how management funnels it off to themselves and cohorts.
What a braggart. Sounds like this could be one of a couple of people familiar to this board. Useless info, if you want to post how much the options went up, fine, but why should anyone care or trust how much you went long or short. And I really don't care, or trust, or care to figue out how much you won or lost.
Agreed. Tried to say a similar thing, and got deleted. Aside to Tottie and TTU - also replied to your posts again, snd deleted again. Thanks Yahoo, for Free Speech on your boards! We live under a dictatorship in these small confines.
Yeah Tottie, I know, when I say that I am often censored and deleted by Yahoo, I realize it could very well be at the behest and urging of some board user, likely Coldunce. Coward/s. I've never once complained to Yahoo about a single post, including political ones, on any board. It's just a little thing called "free speech," that I still believe in. Getting the feeling my Tigers are going to be sitting out the playoffs this year. Pathetic.
Well Tottie, sounds pretty good. You don't know what "cursed" means until you're a lifetime faithful Lions fan, despite spending much of my life working and living in other cities and overseas. I have a traitor brother who deserted us for The Broncos almost immediately after moving to Colorado!
Hello Tottie. Awaiting another season of The Blacklist? How are your Vikings shaping up this season? My Lions just might be better than the mediocrity I expected. Good news today: DeAndre Levy is back and should be playing regularly. But we need our offensive line to hold up, if it does, we have potential for a great passing game, with more receiver options, despite losing Calvin. My Tigers? Frustrating, but a lot of time to get hot and overtake the Indians. Won't be easy ... they're steady tough. Cabrera got hurt again yesterday ... injuries are wearing us down, and we're ready to run Justin Upton out of The D any day now. What a waste of payroll.
I might need to eventually eat my words on the "sell call." Yahoo showing amazing resiliency today. If yesterday was the only day of profit taking, and buyers are stepping back in, congrats to longs.
Thanks Tripletakeupp for the amazing story. I never realized some of those tales of Japanese soldiers still fighting on lasted so long after the war ended. Like most Japanese, he probably went on to live a long life in peace. Coldunce lives in fear of falling on his sword, and only lives a long life in denial, and obfuscation.
Time to sell was on the brief spike yesterday morning, as I suggested Sunday. Now, still advisable to sell, but psychologically, longs will be reluctant, after missing what is likely the final brief high EVER in Yahoo. Still decent gains for most, except for Coldunce,, as almost all of his phantom buys are in the mid-40's and higher.
Was 95% sure it would come back into my forecast range. Sure enough. Now, beware of a BABA bombshell, in addition to the usual shenananigans of Mayer and the BOD.
I haven't left, I'm just censored so often by Yahoo it's not worth my time trying to post. You're right, Yahoo wins! By brute force and tyranny.
Yes, nice gains. But the bigger question with Yahoo is always: Will management find a way to screw shareholders, and bag the gains for themselves? If I had a position in Yahoo, which I don't anymore, I'd be very tempted to sell and move on, especially if it goes a bit higher next week. Bad news and trouble just follows this stock like a fly on ...
Can't figure that out myself. From what folks are saying, if I were to get in, I might be searching how to escape, like MM and Dan "Ashley Madison" Loeb could be doing from Alcatraz one day (or night) before long.
